Arrest Report - July 6, 2016

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 41 complaints and reports the following arrest:

  

Broderick Bennett, 24, 432 Tiffany Street, Patterson LA, was arrested on July 5, 2016 at 3:09pm on a warrant for failing to appear to court on charges of speeding and driving with an expired license. Bennett was transported from the Patterson Police Department to the Parish Jail for booking. No bail is set.

Jacqueline Tardy, 50, 136 Prairie Road North, Centerville LA, was arrested on July 5, 2016 at 4:44pm for simple battery. A deputy working in the Centerville area responded to a complaint of a disturbance at a residence on Prairie Road North. During the investigation, the deputy learned that Tardy pushed a female victim off of a set of steps. The victim suffered minor injuries. Tardy was transported to the St Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. She was released on a $500 bail.

Sarah Jackson, 23, 104 Gerami Street, Patterson LA, was arrested on July 5, 2016 at 7:30pm for disturbing the peace by fighting and reckless operation. Deputies responded to a call of a fight at the intersection of Venus Road and Highway 182 in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation, deputies learned that Sarah Jackson had swerved in front of someone with her vehicle and then exited and threatened a male victim. Sarah Jackson was transported to the parish jail for booking. She was later released after posting a $1000 bond.

Cameron Jackson, 17, 131 Sun Road, Bayou Vista LA, was arrested on July 5, 2016 at 7:30pm for disturbing the peace by fighting. Deputies patrolling the area responded to a call of a fight at the intersection of Venus Road and Highway 182 in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation, deputies learned that Cameron Jackson was involved in a fight with a male victim and threatened him with a screwdriver. Cameron Jackson was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was later released on a $500 bail.

Stacy Jackson, 47, 131 Sun Road, Bayou Vista LA, was arrested on July 5, 2016 at 7:30pm for disturbing the peace. Deputies patrolling the area responded to a call of a fight at the intersection of Venus Road and Highway 182 in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation, deputies learned that Stacey Jackson pulled a male victim’s hair and attempted to fight him. Stacy Jackson was transported to the parish jail for booking. She was later released on a $500 bail amount.

Albert Lopez, 25, 306 Lions Street, Jefferson LA, was arrested on July 6, 2016 at 12:44am on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy patrolling the Franklin area conducted a traffic stop on Alice C Road. The deputy made contact with the driver, Lopez, and a subsequent search of the vehicle was conducted. Lopez was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Lopez was transported to the parish jail for booking.
