Arrest Report - June 20, 2016

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 72-hour weekend reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 129 complaints and reports the following arrests from the Uniformed Patrol Division:

 

Richard Giroir, Jr., 56, St. John Street, Monroe, LA was arrested on June 18, 2016 at 12:52 am for hit and run driving, careless operating of a motor vehicle, and on a warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. A deputy patrolling Amelia responded to a report of a hit and run crash on Friendship Alley. While en route, the deputy observed a vehicle matching the description of the one involved in the crash in the parking lot of a business on Lake Palourde Road. Through the course of the investigation, the deputy positively identified the driver of the suspect vehicle as Giroir. The deputy collected evidence that Giroir struck piece of cement in a resident’s yard and left the area without reporting the crash. Giroir was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Jerry J. Cadiere, Jr., 44, 139 First Street, Grayson, LA was arrested on June 17, 2016 at 1:16 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt and speeding and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of speeding and driving with a suspended license. A correctional officer transported Cadiere from the Terrebonne Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrants. Cadiere was released on a $5,000 recognizance bond.

 

Quincy L. Toups, 35, 1301 First Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on June 18, 2016 at 10:27 am on 2 warrants for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional officer located the 2 active warrants for his arrest. No bail is set.

 

Lashondra S. Watkins, 25, 505 Brashear Avenue, Morgan City, LA was arrested on June 18, 2016 at 6:00 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of obstruction of justice by tampering with evidence, possession of Schedule I drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional officer located the 2 active warrants for her arrest. No bail is set.

 

Linda Lange, 52, 2112 Hebert Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 18, 2016 at 8:00 pm on a warrant from Franklin Police for telephone harassment. A deputy assisting Franklin Police located Lange at her residence on the warrant. Lange was transported to the parish jail for booking. Lange was released on a summons to appear in court on September 15, 2016.

 

Marquis J. Brown, 23, 109 Edward Lane, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on June 18, 2016 at 8:37 pm for illegal use of weapons. A deputy on patrol in Four Corners heard several gun shots near the intersection of Jones Road #1 and Sorrel Railroad Row. The deputy observed a vehicle at the intersection, stopped the vehicle, and ordered the driver to exit the car. The driver, identified as Brown, was detained. During the subsequent investigation into the gunfire, the deputy found evidence that Brown discharged a handgun from a moving vehicle in the residential area. The deputy transported Brown to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Kimberly A. Colletti, 31, 19379 Cemetery Road, Saucier, MS was arrested on June 18, 2016 at 8:00 pm on a warrant for probation violation. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional officer located the active warrant for her arrest. No bail is set.

 

Brandon Durkins, 26, 106 Southeast Boulevard, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on June 19, 2016 at 3:09 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional officer located the active warrant for his arrest. No bail is set.

 

 

Juan Salazar-Maldonado, 23, 250 Texas Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on June 19, 2016 at 10:46 pm for disturbing the peace (fighting) and criminal damage to property.

 

Rigoberto Cruz-Barrios, 30, 1313 Tunnel Boulevard, Houma, LA was arrested on June 19, 2016 at 10:46 pm for disturbing the peace (fighting) and criminal damage to property.

 

A deputy responded to a report of a fight at a bar on Highway 182 in Amelia. During the course of the investigation, the deputy found evidence that Maldonado and Barrios were involved in a physical altercation with two other male subjects. The deputy also learned that during the fight, 3 pool sticks were damaged. Maldonado and Barrios were transported to the parish jail for booking. Both subjects were released on summonses to appear in court on September 15, 2016. The case remains under investigation at this time.
