Arrest Report & Overnight Weather Incidents

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 51 complaints and reports no arrests.

 

 

Deputies responded to several weather related incidents around 10:00 pm last night. They are as follows:

  • Dispatch received a report of a downed tree on Highway 83 in Glencoe near Highway 308. DOTD removed the obstruction.
  • Deputies responded to a traffic incident on Alice C Road in the Centerville area. The driver of the vehicle told deputies that wind blew the vehicle off the roadway and into a nearby field. The driver, who was the only occupant in the vehicle, was unharmed.
  • Dispatch received a report of a powerline on fire on Barrow Street in Amelia. The fire was extinguished prior to fire personnel and sheriff’s deputies’ arrival. The incident was turned over to CLECO.
  • Dispatch received a report of a tree on a powerline on Henry Street in Patterson. The incident was turned over to CLECO.
