Chantel Guillotte, 37, 139 Whispering Oaks Court, Houma, LA was arrested on May 16, 2016 at 1:18 pm on a warrant for attempted second degree murder and aggravated kidnapping. The warrant stems from an investigation into a September 2009 incident; a deputy found an injured female subject walking on Highway 182 near Allain Road in the Baldwin area. Working with the Youngsville Police Department, the detective assigned to the case in 2009 collected evidence that three suspects who knew the victim forced the victim into a vehicle at a residence in Youngsville and struck her repeatedly. The suspects then drove to St. Mary Parish, forced the victim out of the vehicle, continued to hit her, and then left the victim. The victim was treated for a broken jaw and other injuries at an area hospital. The detective working the case in 2009 identified the three suspects in the crime. They are Chantel Guillotte, Lionel Pellerin, and Julie Menard. Pellerin was arrested on a warrant for attempted second degree murder and aggravated kidnapping in July of 2010. The 2009 warrant for Menard on the charges of principal to attempted second degree murder, principal to aggravated kidnapping, and obstruction of justice remains active. Guillotte turned herself in on the 2009 warrant at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin. She was transported to the parish jail for booking and later transferred to the Morgan City Police Department jail for housing. No bail is set.
Jrevon Anderson, 23, 1036 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 17, 2016 at 1:26 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal damage to property, remaining where forbidden, and disturbing the peace. A deputy investigating a separate complaint made contact with Anderson at his residence and located the active warrant for his arrest. Anderson was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $2,500.
