Arrest Report - May 6, 2016

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 42 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Jerald Stansbury, 38, 216 Clausen Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 4, 2016 at 2:56 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge simple battery and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of Schedule I drugs. A correctional officer transported Stansbury from the Iberia Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrants. No bail is set.

 

Jadi Williams, 27, 614 Seventy Nine Pines Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on May 5, 2016 at 9:41 am on a warrant for domestic abuse battery. A deputy responded to a complaint of a domestic battery that occurred at a residence in Bayou Vista. The deputy collected evidence indicating that Williams pushed a male victim causing him to fall to the ground during an argument. Williams turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Morgan City after learning of the warrant for her arrest. Williams was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Darrius Gordon, 28, Franklin, LA was additionally charged with entering contraband into a penal institution on May 5, 2016 at 1:33 pm.

Kendall Hines, 34, Jeanerette, LA was additionally charged with entering contraband into a penal institution on May 5, 2016 at 1:33 pm.

During a search of a housing block at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, correctional officers located a cell phone on 2 inmates, Gordon and Hines. Both remain incarcerated.  

 

Jeremy Corden, 41, 715 East Putnam Street, Erath, LA was arrested on May 5, 2016 at 2:38 pm for the following offenses:

- Driving under suspension

- Careless operation of a motor vehicle with a crash

- Canceled license plate

- No insurance

A deputy responded to a single vehicle crash on Highway 90 in the Amelia area made contact with the driver, Corden. Corden was transported to an area hospital for treatment and was later released. During the course of the crash investigation, the deputy found that Corden was operating the car with no insurance and with a driver’s license that was listed as suspended. Corden was released on a summons to appear in court on August 29, 2016.
