According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 32 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Misty Lafleur, 33, 613 Kelli Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on August 20, 2014 at 9:37 am on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. Lafleur turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin after learning of the warrant for her arrest. She was released on a summons to appear in court on November 14, 2014.
Gene Webb, 24, 271 Grandwood Drive Apt. #41, Patterson, LA was arrested on August 20, 2014 at 10:30 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of no seat belt and driving under suspension. A deputy located Webb at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin on the warrant. The deputy transported Webb to the parish jail for booking. Webb was released on a $2,500 bond.
According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:
Joshua D. Robertson, 22, 1429 Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, LA was arrested on August 20, 2014 at 3:51pm on the following charges:
- Possession of Schedule III (Lortab) with intent to distribute
- Possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance
- Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
- Possession of a stolen firearm
- Transactions involving drug proceeds
- Violation of a CDS law (Drug Free Zone)
- Resisting an officer (refusing to be booked)
Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division conducted an investigation into illegal drug activity occurring at a lot on the corner of Fifth Street and Maine Street in Morgan City. Detectives made contact with Robertson and located Lortab pills and a firearm nearby. Using the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), detectives learned that the firearm was stolen. Detectives also located $483.00 in cash (US currency), which was seized pending forfeiture. Detectives believe the money was derived from illicit drug sales. Detectives transported Robertson to the parish jail for booking. During his arrest and booking, Robertson refused to give his name. No bail is set.
