Arrest Report - April 7, 2016

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 38 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Marquita Shearron, 32, 400 Second Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on April 6, 2016 at 11:44 am for driving under suspension and possession of Schedule I drug.

Juankeith Shearron, 27, 468 N. Branch Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on April 6, 2016 at 12:29 am for possession of Schedule I drug.

A deputy searching conducted a traffic stop on US 90 Frontage Road in Baldwin on a car matching the description of a reported suspicious vehicle. The deputy made contact with the driver of the car, identified as M. Shearron, and found that her license was listed as suspended. While talking to the driver and other occupants in the vehicle, the deputy observed pieces of marijuana in the lap of one of the passengers. Through further investigation, the deputy also located 2 partially burnt marijuana cigarettes in the ashtray of the vehicle. J. Shearron was released on a summons to appear in court on July 25, 2016. M. Shearron was transported to the parish jail for booking. She was later released on a summons to appear in court on July 25, 2016.  

 

Quinton Robinson, 30, 501 ½ Ninth Street, Lot #10, Franklin, LA was arrested on April 6, 2016 at 12:55 pm on a warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. Robinson was convicted of carnal knowledge of a juvenile in St. Mary Parish in 2006. A detective with the Sex Offender Compliance Division found that Robinson failed to register as required by the state. Robinson turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin and was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Deidre Lewis, 39, 1405 James Street, Siracusa, LA was arrested on April 6, 2016 at 10:20 pm for disturbing the peace (intoxicated) and resisting an officer. A deputy responding to a disturbance at a residence in Siracusa found evidence that Lewis had consumed several alcoholic beverages and was attempting to engage another subject in a fight. The deputy also heard Lewis yelling outside of the home. During Lewis’ arrest, she attempted to free herself by pulling away from the deputy. Lewis was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $1,500.

 

Camille St. Julien, 25, 720 West Washington Street, New Iberia, LA was arrested on April 6, 2016 at 4:24 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of Schedule I drugs. A correctional officer transported St. Julien from the from the Iberia Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrant. He was booked and released on a $700 bond.

 

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

 

Leonard Aucoin, 37, 1721 River Road Lot #5, Berwick, LA was arrested on April 6, 2016 at 4:22 pm for the following offenses:

- Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute

- Possession of drug paraphernalia

- Possession of a Legend Drug without a prescription (Zorvolex) 

St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics detectives with assistance from members of the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division and officers with the Berwick Police Department executed a search warrant at Aucoin’s residence. Detectives located a digital scale, a grinder, several legend drug pills, and a large bag of marijuana. During the investigation, detectives found evidence that the drugs and items of paraphernalia belonged to Aucoin. He was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
