Arrest Report - March 4, 2016

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 49 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Joel A. Fabre, 27, 433 A Idlewild Drive, Houma, LA was arrested on March 3, 2016 at 8:23 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, speeding, and failure to honor written promise to appear. A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a reckless driver traveling on Highway 90 in the Patterson area. The deputy made contact with the driver, Fabre, and located an active warrant for his arrest. Fabre was transported to the parish jail for booking. Fabre was released on a $430 bond.

 

Matthew Strubb, 18, 1803 Canal Driver, Franklin, LA was additionally charged on a warrant for theft.

Cameron Aucoin, 17, 2014 Burney Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on March 3, 2016 at 11:09 am on a warrant for theft.

A deputy investigating the theft of LED light bars from vehicles in the Centerville area gathered evidence indicating that Aucoin and Strubb stole the items. Strubb was already incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on a related charge. (See 3-3-16 report.) Aucoin was transported to the parish jail for booking. Strubb was released on a $2,000 bond. Aucoin was released on a $1,000 bond.

 

Denver C. Chapman, III, 23, 171 Village Lane, Morgan City, LA was arrested on March 3, 2016 at 11:25 am on a warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. Chapman was convicted for carnal knowledge of a juvenile in St. Mary Parish in 2015. A detective with the Sex Offender Compliance Division found that Chapman failed to meet registration requirements and obtained a warrant for his arrest. Chapman turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Morgan City. Chapman was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Shane Suire, 20, 1029 Susan Court, Morgan City, LA was arrested on March 3, 2016 at 7:07 pm for reckless operation of a vehicle and possession of Schedule IV (alprazolam). A deputy responded to a report of a reckless driver on Highway 90 in the Morgan City area and located the suspect vehicle on Highway 182 in the parking lot of a business. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Suire. The deputy collected statements that Suire swerved from lane to lane on Highway 90 forcing an 18 wheeler onto the shoulder of the roadway. Also during the investigation, the deputy located an alprazolam pill inside the vehicle. Suire was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Kieron Mandubourg, 59, 320 Verdun Lane, Verdunville, LA was arrested on March 4, 2016 at 1:14 am for the following offenses:

- Operating a vehicle while intoxicated

- Possession of Schedule I (marijuana)

- Possession of Schedule II (cocaine)

- Possession of drug paraphernalia

- Possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a drug free zone

- Possession of open alcoholic beverages in a motor vehicle

A deputy assisting a stranded motorist in a parking lot off of Highway 90 in Bayou Vista received a radio call of a reported reckless driver in the area. The deputy spotted the suspect vehicle entering the parking lot and made contact with the driver, identified as Mandubourg. While speaking with Mandubourg the deputy observed several signs of impairment and conducted a field sobriety test. Mandubourg was unable to complete the test. He later registered a 0.175g% blood alcohol concentration on a breath test. During the investigation, the deputy also located marijuana, cocaine, and rolling papers in the vehicle Mandubourg was driving. Mandubourg was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
