Arrest Report August 14, 2014

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 48 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

James Parker, Jr., 64, 1015 Government Street, Arabi, LA was arrested on August 13, 2014 at 7:31 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Parker was brought to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on bond surrender and booked on the active warrant. No bail is set.

 

Dennis Aucoin, 70, 1902 West Main Street, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on August 13, 2014 at 3:17 pm for simple criminal damage to property and reckless operation of a vehicle. A deputy responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Chitimacha Trail. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Aucoin, the driver of the vehicle. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Aucoin was changing the radio station in his vehicle when he drove off of the roadway and through a yard damaging the yard and a drain pipe. The deputy transported Aucoin to the parish jail. Aucoin was later released on a summons to appear in court on November 14, 2014.

 

Randy G. Clark, 27, 149 Friendship Lane, Amelia, LA was arrested on August 13, 2014 at 8:01 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of illegal possession of stolen things. Clark was located and brought to the SMPLEC by a bounty hunter and booked on the active warrants. No bail is set.

 

Robert Conner, 53, 501 ½ 9th Street Lot #13, Franklin, LA was arrested on August 13, 2014 at 10:39 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family and on a warrant from the Department of Public Safety and Corrections Division of Probation and Parole for probation violation. A deputy assisted the U.S. Marshals Office and Division of Probation and Parole in locating Conner on the probation violation warrant at a residence on Martin Luther King Road in Franklin. Upon locating Conner, the deputy learned that he also held an active warrant in St. Mary Parish. The deputy transported Conner to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Dion Maize, 22, 712 6th Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on August 13, 2014 at 9:20 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of speeding, failure to change address, and failure to honor written promise to appear. A deputy made contact with Maize while he was walking on Degravelle Road in Amelia. While speaking with Maize, the deputy learned of the active warrant for his arrest. Maize was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was later released on a $414.50 bond.
