Arrest Report - February 11, 2016

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour holiday reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 43 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Eugene Dunn, Jr., 39, 320 South Church Street, Washington, LA was arrested on February 10, 2016 at 9:43 am for reckless operation of a vehicle and open alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles. A deputy on Highway 90 in the Franklin area observed a vehicle travelling in excess of 100 miles per hour and conducted a traffic stop in Baldwin. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Dunn. During the course of the investigation, the deputy observed a cup containing an alcoholic beverage inside the vehicle. Dunn was transported to the parish jail for booking. Dunn was later released on a summons to appear in court on May 4, 2016.

 

Renee Watts, 38, 211 Southeast Boulevard, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 10, 2016 at 10:50 am for violation of a stop sign and no proof of insurance. A deputy observed a vehicle fail to come to a complete stop at a stop sign on Southeast Boulevard and conducted a traffic stop. While speaking with the driver, Watts, the deputy discovered that she had no insurance on the vehicle. Watts was released on a summons to appear in court on May 4, 2016.

 

Kenneth Pauley, 31, 403 Blum Boulevard, Berwick, LA was arrested on February 10, 2016 at 4:00 pm on a warrant for sexual battery. After receiving a complaint on February 5, 2016 of a possible molestation of a juvenile, a detective gathered evidence indicating that Pauley touched a teenaged female victim in a manner that was sexual while at a location in the Patterson area. Pauley came to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Morgan City in reference to the investigation and was subsequently taken into custody on the warrant. No bail is set.

 

Justin P. Crews, 34, 821 Two Brothers Street, Amelia, LA was arrested on February 10, 2016 at 10:43 pm for driving under suspension.

Frankie G. Clark, 32, 149 Friendship Alley, Amelia, LA was arrested on February 10, 2016 at 10:44 pm on 6 warrants for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the drug court treatment program.

While patrolling Amelia, a deputy observed a vehicle pulling onto Duhon Boulevard from a parish pumping station which is private property. The deputy stopped the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Crews, and a passenger, Clark. While speaking with the subjects, the deputy learned that Crews was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license and that Clark was wanted on several active warrants. Crews was released on a summons to appear in court on May 4, 2016. Clark was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $600,000.
