According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 31 complaints and reports the following arrest:
Troy Conner, 48, 209 E. Broussard St, Broussard LA, was arrested on January 28, 2016 on a warrant for failing to appear to court on charges of speeding and driving under suspension. Conner was transported from the Lafayette Parish Jail to the Law Enforcement Center in Centerville for incarceration. No bail is set.
Jeffery Carlson, 40, 342 Easy St, Franklin LA , was arrested on January 28, 2016 on charges of no driver’s license, license plate light required and no insurance. A deputy assigned to patrol the Franklin area conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no working license plate light. The deputy made contact with the driver, Carlson, and learned that he did not have a driver’s license and that his vehicle was not insured. Carlson was released on a summons to appear in court on March 30, 2016.
