Arrest Report - December 21, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 72 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 113 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Patrick R. McGraw, 27 1110 Audubon Avenue, Thibodaux, LA was arrested on December 18, 2015 at 6:49 am for driving under suspension. A deputy working radar on US Highway 90 in the Siracusa area observed a vehicle speeding and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with the driver, McGraw, and discovered that he was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. McGraw was released on a summons to appear in court on March 7, 2016.

 

Edward Bahwell, Jr., 35, 515 Domingue Street, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on December 18, 2015 at 7:25 am on 2 warrants for failure to appear on the charges of violating recreational gear license requirement, expired boat registration certificate, and failure to change ownership. A deputy investigating a complaint of trespassing in the Jeanerette area made contact with Bahwell and located the active warrant for his arrest. Bahwell was released on a $1,500 bond.

 

Christina Hornsby, 36, 305 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on December 18, 2015 at 8:51 am on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. A deputy investigating a complaint of harassment made contact with Hornsby and located the active warrant for her arrest. Hornsby was released on a summons to appear in court on March 7, 2016.

 

Max L. James, Jr., 32, 1402 Front Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on December 18, 2015 at 1:15 pm for driving under suspension and violation of the general speed law. A deputy working radar on US Highway 90 in the Siracusa area observed a vehicle speeding 87 miles per hour in a 70 mile per hour zone and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as James, and discovered that he was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. James was releases on a summons to appear in court on March 7, 2016.

 

Bryce Beaubouef, 18, 802 Main Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on December 18, 2015 at 3:11 pm on a warrant for aggravated cruelty to animals. A detective investigating a complaint of animal cruelty collected video showing evidence that Beaubouef killed two raccoons at the Atchafalaya Golf Course at Idlewild on December 11, 2015. Additional evidence indicates that Beaubouef used a blunt object to strike the two animals, killing them. Beaubouef was located at his residence on the warrant and later released on a $5,000 personal surety bond.

 

Scott D. Louviere, 31, 1370 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on December 18, 2015 at 4:37 pm on the following warrants:

- Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle with an suspended license and speeding

- Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of improper turn and operating a vehicle with a suspended license

A deputy located Louviere at his residence on the warrant and transported him to the parish jail for booking. Louviere was released on a $1,000 bond.

 

Ronnie Bolton, 41, 4450 General Drive, Beaumont, TX was arrested on December 18, 2015 at 8:55 pm for illegal possession of stolen firearms. Just after 7:30 pm, a deputy was dispatched to a two vehicle crash on Highway 90 west in Siracusa. The deputy determined that Bolton struck an unoccupied vehicle that was parked on the side of the roadway. Bolton was cited for careless operation of a motor vehicle. Also during the crash investigation, the deputy located a handgun in Bolton’s vehicle. The weapon was verified as reported stolen property out of Texas. Bolton was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was released on a $13,000 bond.

 

Christina K. Creppel, 33, 236 Eisenhower Drive, Biloxi, MS was arrested on December 19, 2015 at 3:04 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of a Legend Drug without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia. Creppel was brought to the parish jail by a prison transport service on the warrant for booking. No bail is set.

 

Derek L. Brown, 24, 90 Choctaw Street, Charenton, LA was arrested on December 19, 2015 at 10:12 am on a warrant for sexual battery. On November 29, 2015, a deputy investigating a report of a possible sexual battery learned that Brown touched a female victim’s genitals without her permission. Following the investigation, the deputy obtained a warrant for his arrest. Brown was located on Foxglove Drive in Patterson, taken into custody, and transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Lashondra Watkins, 24, 505 Brashear Drive, Lot #221, Morgan City, LA was arrested on December 19, 2015 at 11:24 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of obstruction of justice, possession of Schedule I drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Watkins was brought to the parish jail by a prison transport service on the warrant for booking. No bail is set.

 

Ashlea N. Brazie, 31, 128 Miller Lane, Centerville, LA was arrested on December 19, 2015 at 11:52 pm for the following offenses:

- Driving while intoxicated

- Reckless operation of a motor vehicle

- Speeding

- Resisting an officer

A deputy working radar on Highway 182 near Jupiter Street in Bayou Vista observed a vehicle traveling 53 miles per hour in a posted 45 mile per hour zone and initiated a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop. The deputy observed the car swerving from lane to lane and onto the shoulder nearly striking a mailbox and a parked car. When the vehicle did stop, the deputy made contact with the driver, Brazie, who was talking on a cell phone. While speaking with her, the deputy smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath and person. The deputy also observed that Brazie’s speech was slurred. Continuing the investigation, the deputy conducted a field sobriety test on which Brazie performed poorly. She later registered a 0.354g% blood alcohol concentration on a breath test. Due to her high level of intoxication, the deputy transported her to the Teche Regional Medical Center where Brazie was evaluated and released. The deputy then transported Brazie to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Tommy McNally, 45, 1309 Middle Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on December 20, 2015 at 4:56 pm for domestic abuse battery (strangulation) and disturbing the peace (intoxication). A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance in the 400 block of Field Road in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation the deputy learned that McNally grabbed a female victim by the throat and pushed her to the ground. McNally was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Tony Tran, 27, 109 Calahan Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on December 21, 2015 at 12:08 am for driver must be licensed (no driver’s license), possession of Schedule I (marijuana), and possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance. A deputy responded to complaint of a possible vehicle crash on Highway 90 in the Calumet area. Upon arrival, the deputy located a vehicle off the roadway near a sugarcane field. The deputy observed the operator of the vehicle sleeping at the steering wheel with the car still in drive. The deputy made contact with the subject, identified as Tran. When Tran exited the car a marijuana cigarette fell from his clothing. The deputy observed a second marijuana cigarette inside the vehicle. During the course of the investigation, the deputy also located a handgun in the vehicle and discovered that Tran did not have a valid driver’s license. Tran was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Chad Toups, 41, 116 Doris Street, Amelia, LA was arrested on December 21, 2015 at 2:37 am for vagrancy. A deputy investigating a complaint of a trespasser in Amelia made contact with Toups who had been advised by the deputy earlier in the evening to leave the area. Toups was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
