Arrest Report- October 21, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 42 complaints and reports the following arrest:

 

Ollie Carlisle, 42, 400 Darlene St, Patterson LA, was arrested October 20, 2015 at 12:29pm for possession of a schedule II narcotic and the following

Warrants:

  • - Warrant for failing to appear to court on the charge of improper lighting
  • - Warrant for failing to appear to court on the charge of driving under suspension
  • - Warrant for failing to appear to court on the charge of allowing dogs to roam

A deputy patrolling the Patterson area responded to a call of illegal drug activity at a home in Patterson. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Carlise was in possession of meth. It was also learned, that Carlisle held active warrants for St Mary Parish. Carlisle was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Steven Morris, 29, 113 Vista Village Ln, Amelia LA was arrested on October 20, 2015 at 2:21pm for a warrant on the charge of violation of a protective order. The warrant stems from an investigation reported on October 18, 2015. A deputy investigating this incident found that Morris, after being served with a protective order, harassed a female at her place of work and sent her several text messages. Morris was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Martha Ford, 50, 107 Friendship Alley, Amelia LA was arrested on October 20, 2015 at 9:56pm for no license plate light and open container of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle. A deputy assigned to patrol the Amelia area observed a vehicle to not have a license plate light and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with the driver, Ford, and found that there was an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. Ford was released on a summons to appear in court on January 13, 2016.

 

Jovian Clark, 34, 186 Friendship Alley, Amelia LA was arrested on October 20, 2015 at 11:02pm on the following charges:

  • - Resisting an officer
  • - Resisting an officer with force or violence
  • - Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute (2nd offense)
  • - Possession of schedule II narcotic with intent to distribute
  • - Obstruction of justice
  • - Violation of uniform controlled dangerous substance law; drug-free zone

A deputy patrolling the Amelia area conducted a traffic stop near a local business. The passenger of the vehicle, Clark, quickly exited and ran across the street. The deputy attempted to detain and was met with force. During this encounter, the deputy observed Clark trying to conceal a small bag of marijuana. The incident took place near a school. A subsequent search led to the discovery of several small bags of marijuana and oxycodone. Clark was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Natoya Singleton, 24, 721 Chetta Ln, Morgan City LA, was arrested on October 20, 2015 at 10:15 for interfering with a law enforcement investigation, entry on or remaining in places or on land after being forbidden, and for a warrant issued by the Morgan City Police Department for failing to appear on the charge of failing to return a leased movable. Deputies conducted a traffic stop at a business in Amelia. During the investigation, Singleton showed up on scene and attempted to speak to those involved in the active investigation. Singleton was given instruction to either enter the business or leave the immediate area. She refused to and began to argue with deputies. Singleton was arrested and transported to the parish jail. No bail is set.

 

Aaron Mitchell Sr, 33, 213 Gumpoint Ln, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 21, 2015 at 2:18am on the charge of simple battery. A deputy responded to a call of a disturbance at a residence on Gumpoint Ln. Through the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Mitchell struck another person. Mitchell was arrested and transported to the parish jail. Bail is set at $500.00.
