Arrest Report - October 14, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 39 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Christine Crane, 45, 866 Verdunville Road, Verdunville, LA was arrested on October 13, 2015 at 9:59 am on a warrant for criminal trespass. A deputy investigating an October 12, 2015 complaint of trespassing received information that Crane was seen going into a neighbor’s property on multiple occasions. The deputy obtained a warrant for Crane’s arrest. Crane turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin. Crane was released on a summons to appear on court on January 13, 2015.

 

Nakeisa Walker, 36, 142 Polaris Street, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on October 13, 2015 at 12:16 pm for resisting an officer with force or violence and on a warrant for the City Court of Morgan City for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace by alarming the public. A deputy investigating a separate complaint made contact with Walker and learned of the active warrant. During her arrest, Walker forcefully pulled away from the deputy. After being taken into custody, Walker also refused to get into the police unit. After being placed in the vehicle, the deputy transported Walker to the Morgan City jail for booking.

 

Lauren Lodrigue, 23, 116 Riverview Drive, Patterson, LA was arrested on October 13, 2015 at 12:46 pm on a warrant for theft. On October 2, 2015, a detective began an investigation into a complaint of a theft perpetrated by an employee of a business in Bayou Vista. The detective gathered evidence indicating that Lodrigue stole over $9,800 over the course of 7 months in 2015 by altering business deposit amounts. While speaking with the detective, Lodrigue admitted to taking the money. She was transported to the parish jail. Lodrigue was released on a $10,000 personal surety bond.

 

Juvenile male, 16, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on October 13, 2015 at 4:12 pm for criminal damage to property. A deputy responded to a complaint of an ungovernable juvenile at a residence in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that the juvenile damaged several household items during an argument with another subject. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Joseph F. Gioia, 57, 103 Marin Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on October 13, 2015 at 5:56 pm for possession of marijuana. Deputies responded to a complaint at a residence in Patterson. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with Gioia and conducted a pat down search for officer safety locating a small amount of marijuana in the process. Gioia was released on a summons to appear in court on January 13, 2015.

 

Rory Landry, 33, 15189 Highway 182, Franklin, LA was arrested on October 13, 2015 at 10:04 pm for no license plate light, suspended driver’s license, and switched license plate. A deputy patrolling Irish Bend Road observed a vehicle without a license plate light and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with the driver, Landry, and discovered that he was operating the vehicle with a suspended license. During the traffic stop investigation, the deputy also learned that license plate displayed on the vehicle was not registered to the car. Landry was released on a summons to appear in court on January 13, 2015.

 

Joseph Reed, 31, 603 Robert Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on October 13, 2015 at 10:25mpm for no license plate, suspended driver’s license, no insurance, and no registration. A deputy patrolling the Centerville area conducted a traffic stop on Highway 182 after observing a vehicle without a visible license plate. The deputy made contact with the driver, Reed, and learned that he was driving under suspension and that the vehicle had no insurance and was not registered. Reed was released on a summons to appear in court on January 13, 2015.
