Arrest Report - October 7, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

 

Richard Fontenot, 42, 111 Duhon Lane, Franklin, LA was arrested on October 6, 2015 at 3:46 pm for the following offenses:

- Possession of methamphetamine

- Operation of a clandestine laboratory

- Manufacturing methamphetamine

- Possession of drug paraphernalia

- Possession of controlled dangerous substance in the presence of juveniles

 

Miranda Brown, 22, 111 Duhon Lane, Franklin, LA was arrested on October 6, 2015 at 3:46 pm for the following offenses:

- Possession of methamphetamine

- Operation of a clandestine laboratory

- Manufacturing methamphetamine

- Possession of drug paraphernalia

- Possession of controlled dangerous substance in the presence of juveniles

 

Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division conducted an investigation into the operation of a clandestine laboratory at the residence of Fontenot and Brown. During the course of the investigation, detectives located methamphetamine, items of drug paraphernalia, and several items used to manufacture methamphetamine. Two children were also living at the residence. Fontenot and Brown were transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

 

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 45 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Misty L. Gaudet, 27, Francis Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on October 6, 2015 at 2:59 pm on a St. Martin Parish warrant for theft. A deputy conducting a traffic stop for speeding on US Highway 90 in the Siracusa area made contact with Gaudet, the driver of the vehicle, and learned that she had an active warrant for her arrest from St. Martin Parish. Gaudet was transported to the parish jail for booking. St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office then recalled the warrant and Gaudet was released.

 

Alisha Mire, 30, 104 Jordin Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on October 6, 2015 at 6:35 pm for violation of the parish leash law ordinance. A deputy investigating an animal complaint on Jordin Lane learned that Mire’s dog got loose and bit another dog. Animal control was contacted to take custody of Mire’s animal for observation. Mire was issued a summons to appear in court on January 31, 2015.

 

Alfred Broussard, III, 49, 136 Prairie Road North, Frankiln, LA was arrested on October 6, 2015 at 8:26 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of aggravated assault with a firearm. A deputy responding to a report of a disturbance at a residence on Prairie Road North made contact with Broussard and located the active warrant for his arrest. No bail is set.

 

Chad Toups, 41, 116 Doris Street, Amelia, LA was arrested on October 6, 2015 at 10:07 pm on a warrant for theft. A deputy investigating an October 5, 2015 report of a stolen bicycle learned that several subjects witnessed Toups steal the bike from the porch of a residence on West Syls Lane. Following the investigation, the deputy obtained a warrant for Toups’ arrest. A deputy then located Toups at his residence on the warrant. Bail is set at $7,500.
