Arrest Report - September 25, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 35 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Bruce Gaspard, 61, 6801 Highway 182 Apt. 1, Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 24, 2015 at 10:11 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of driving in left lane prohibited. Gaspard came to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center to visit an offender. While at the facility, a jailer located an active warrant for his arrest. Gaspard was released on a summons to appear in court on November 9, 2015.

 

Anthony Kidder, 28, 1200 Clement Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on September 24, 2015 at 2:14 pm on a warrant for the following violations:

- Possession of Schedule I (synthetic marijuana)

- Possession of Legend Drug (naproxen) without a prescription

- Possession of Schedule III (Suboxone)

- Possession of drug paraphernalia

A narcotics detective received information that Kidder was smoking illegal drugs inside a vehicle on Clement Lane. During the course of the investigation, the detective received consent to search the vehicle and located a bag of synthetic marijuana, Suboxone, and prescription naproxen along with items of drug paraphernalia. The detective obtained a warrant for Kidder’s arrest. Kidder turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

 

Linda Butkus, 56, 3613 Euclid Street, Houma, LA was arrested on September 24, 2015 at 2:53 pm on a warrant for domestic abuse battery and disturbing the peace.

 

Peter D. Butkus, 60, 3613 Euclid Street, Houma, LA was arrested on September 24, 2015 at 2:53 pm on a warrant for simple battery and disturbing the peace. In the early morning hours of April 5, 2014, a deputy responded to Burns Point State Park in reference to a complaint of several subjects fighting at the camp ground. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that L. Butkus and P. Butkus were involved in a physical altercation with a female victim. The deputy obtained warrants for their arrest. L. Butkus and P. Butkus turned themselves in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin. This is the third arrest made in this investigation. Both subjects were released after posting $750 bonds.

 

Eric Howard, Jr., 17, 240 Cremo Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on September 24, 2015 at 3:09 pm for 2 counts of simple burglary. A detective investigating three vehicle burglaries reported on September 21, 2015 on Cremo Lane identified Howard as a suspect. While speaking to the detective, Howard admitted to stealing items from vehicles. He was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
