Arrest Report - September 24, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

 

George D. Harvey, 33, 115 Cane Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on September 23, 2015 at 10:14 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, violation of uniform controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone), and possession of counterfeit cocaine with intent to distribute. Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division went to Harvey’s residence in Bayou Vista to serve the active warrant. Detectives located Harvey hiding in the garage. No bail is set.

 

Aketa R. Francis, 23, 301 Egle Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 23, 2015 at 11:00 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery and on a warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. While conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 90 in Berwick, narcotics detectives, identified a passenger as Francis who was wanted on the 2 active warrants. Bail is set at $100,500.

 

Ronald Clark, 47, 8258 Stern Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA was arrested on September 23, 2015 at 6:09 pm for the following offenses:

- Possession of crack cocaine

- Resisting an officer

- Obstruction of justice

- Simple escape

Narcotics detectives patrolling Morgan City observed a male subject walking towards Sixth Street. When detectives attempted to make contact with the subject, they observed him open his hand and drop a rock of crack cocaine to the ground. The subject then fled on foot. After a brief foot pursuit, detectives apprehended the subject, identified as Clark, and placed him under arrest. While being escorted to a police unit, Clark forcefully pulled away from a detective’s custody, and again fled on foot. Following another short foot pursuit, detectives subdued Clark and transported him to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 27 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Claude Hebert, 40, 236 Elaine Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on September 23, 2015 at 9:06 am for the following offenses:

- Warrant for issuing worthless checks

- Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks

- Lafayette Parish warrant for failure to appear on the charge of armed robbery

- Lafayette Parish warrant for failure to appear on the charge of unauthorized use of an access card

A deputy assigned to the Warrants Division located Hebert at his residence. No bail is set.

 

Thomas C. Thompson, 42, 113 Fernandez Court, Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 23, 2015 at 12:50 pm on 2 warrants for failure to appear for a drug court status conferences. A deputy transported Thompson from the Assumption Parish jail to the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center on the warrants. Bail is set at $200,000.
