Arrest Report - September 8, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the Labor Day holiday weekend reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 142 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Robert A. Toups, 31, 1026 Levee Road, Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 4, 2015 at 1:47 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy responding to a complaint of a disturbance at a residence on Willow Bend Lane came into contact with Toups and located the active warrant for his arrest. Toups was released after posting $5,000 bail.

 

Brandon Bourgeois, 24, 1803 Cole Drive, Franklin, LA was arrested on September 4, 2015 at 2:46 pm on a warrant for criminal damage to property and criminal trespassing. A detective investigating a complaint of trespassing on property located on Frontage Road in the Franklin area learned that the trespasser abandoned an ATV that had become stuck in the mud. The rider of the ATV had caused damage to the property before leaving the vehicle. The detective found that the ATV belonged to Bourgeois. Following an investigation into the incident, the detective obtained a warrant for Bourgeois’ arrest. Bourgeois turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin. Bourgeois was released on a $2,500 bond.

 

Cherri L. Pennison, 39, 1408 Second Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 4, 2015 at 3:16 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of distribution of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of subutex, and possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy conducting a follow up investigation at the residence on Second Street, made contact with Pennison and located an active warrant for her arrest. No bail is set.

 

Jeffery Lambert, Jr., 17, 1408 Second Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 4, 2015 at 3:56 pm on a warrant for theft and criminal damage to property. A deputy investigating a complaint of a theft learned that Lambert damaged a bedroom door and stole two cell phones from a residence in Garden City that he was visiting. The deputy obtained a warrant for Lambert’s arrest and located him at his residence. Lambert was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was later released on a summons to appear in court on December 7, 2015.

 

Kristin Aucoin, 22, 1509 Filmore Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 5, 2015 at 6:16 am for the following offenses:

- Domestic abuse battery

- Criminal damage to property

- Criminal trespass

- Disturbing the peace (intoxicated)

A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista was flagged down by a subject who reported a disturbance at a residence on Carol Road. When the deputy arrived and exited this police unit he could hear a female voice screaming profanities from inside the home. The deputy made contact with several subjects inside, including Aucoin, who was identified as the person screaming. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Aucoin barged into the residence tearing curtains from the door which damaged some molding. While in the residence she also punched a door, threw several objects to the ground, and struck a male victim in the face. The deputy transported Aucoin to the parish jail for booking. Aucoin was released after posting $4,500 bond.

 

Tyler J. Voisin, 24, 410 W. Azalea Street #4, Foley, AL was arrested on September 5, 2015 at 7:27 pm for the following violations

- Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, disobeying a traffic light, no license plate, and failure to honor written promise to appear.

- Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, failure to use seatbelts, and failure to honor written promise to appear

Voisin was brought to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrants. No bail is set.

 

William Hale, III, 27, 205 Cedar Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on September 7, 2015 at 2:40 am for simple battery.

Tyler Sultan, Sr., 23, 728 Chitimacha Trail, Baldwin, LA was arrested on September 7, 2015 at 2:40 am for simple battery.

Deputies responded to a disturbance in progress at a residence on Chitimacha Trail in Baldwin. Upon arrival, deputies learned that two male subjects who had been arguing and physically fighting throughout the evening had locked themselves inside the residence. While attempting to make contact with the subjects, deputies heard a noise and observed a subject through a window lying motionless on the floor. Deputies entered the residence and made contact with the subject on the floor identified as Sultan and a second subject, identified as Hale. Deputies observed bruises on Sultan’s face. During the course of the investigation, deputies learned that the two subjects were involved in a physical altercation. Both Hale and Sultan were transported to the parish jail for booking. Both were released after posting $500 bond.

 

Eric Scivicque, 53, 2017 Bull Run Road, Schriever, LA was arrested on September 7, 2015 at 3:55 pm for aggravated assault with a firearm. Deputies responded to a complaint of an assault involving a firearm that occurred on US Highway 90 westbound in the Franklin area. The dispatcher issued a description of the suspect vehicle and learned that the subject involved in the assault was approaching the Patterson area. An officer with the Patterson Police Department conducted a traffic stop. During the investigation, deputies learned the victim had just merged onto Highway 90 when Scivicque, who was also traveling on the roadway, became irate and pointed a firearm at the victim. Scivicque was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was released after posting $5,000 bond.

 

Veronica Bernardino, 40, 716 Gabriel Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on September 7, 2015 at 4:47 pm for improper lane usage, no driver’s license, and possession of fraudulent documents. A deputy observed a vehicle traveling against traffic and conducted a traffic stop on Federal Avenue near Freret Street in Morgan City. The deputy made contact with Bernardino and requested to see her driver’s license. Bernardino presented an ID. Upon inspection, the deputy determined that the identification card was a fake. Bernardino was unable to provide a valid driver’s license. Following the investigation, Bernardino was released on a summons to appear in court on December 17, 2015.

 

Lucille Gussman, 35, 711 Franklin Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 7, 2015 at 7:06 pm for disturbing the peace. A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance in progress at a residence on Carol Road in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Gussman began yelling outside of a residence causing a disturbance in the neighborhood. The deputy transported Gussman to the parish jail for booking. Gussman was released on a summons to appear in court on December 7, 2015.

 

Domingo M. Quigley, 46, 129 Pluto Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on September 8, 2015 at 3:08 am for the following offenses:

- Domestic abuse battery (of a juvenile)

- Domestic abuse aggravated assault

A deputy patrolling Bayou Vista was flagged down on Pluto Road by a subject who reported a disturbance nearby. The deputy made contact with Quigley and several other subjects. While investigating the complaint, the deputy learned that Quigley and a 16 year old juvenile male subject were involved in an argument when Quigley retrieved a knife. Quigley threatened the juvenile and other occupants in the residence with the weapon. When the juvenile attempted to disarm Quigley, the juvenile sustained a small cut on his hand. Quigley also punched the juvenile in the face during the altercation. The deputy transported Quigley to the parish jail. No bail is set.

 

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

 

Jahmarcus Paddio, 19, 712 Ferret Street Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 5, 2015 at 1:15 am for distribution of marijuana and possession of marijuana. An undercover narcotics detective made contact with Paddio on the corner of Greenwood and Sixth Streets in Morgan City. The detective negotiated the purchase of several bags of marijuana. Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division then made contact with Paddio at his room in a motel on Highway 182 in Morgan City and located additional marijuana. Following the investigation, Paddio was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
