Arrest Report - August 27, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 43 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Tye E. Eiserman, 23, 3899 Oak Pointe Road, Montegut, LA was arrested on August 26, 2015 at 11:27 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of taking oyster from an unapproved area. Eiserman turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin. He was later released on a $500 bond.

 

Brent M. Dalton, 34, 105 Sydney Jo Lane, Berwick, LA was arrested on August 26, 2015 at 6:36 pm on two warrants for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. With the assistance of Berwick Police, a deputy located Dalton at his residence on the warrant. Bail is set at $200,000.

 

Kenneth J. Alfred, 41, 504 Hilda Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on August 26, 2015 at 7:16 pm for driving under suspension, possession of Schedule II (hydrocodone) and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of driving under suspension and possession of Schedule II (hydrocodone). A deputy responded to a report of a crash at the intersection of Highway 90 and Southeast Boulevard in Bayou Vista. The deputy made contact with the drivers involved in the crash one of whom was identified as Alfred. The deputy learned that Alfred was driving the vehicle with a suspended license and also located an active warrant for his arrest. While taking the subject into custody, the deputy discovered over a dozen hydrocodone pills inside a container in Alfred’s pocket. The deputy transported Alfred to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Marc Ramsey, 35, 607 Clarke Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on August 26, 2015 at 10:11 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy located Ramsey at his residence on the warrant. Bail is set at $9,114.96.

 

 

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

 

James Goins, 31, 104 Sundown Court, Gibson, LA was arrested on August 26, 2015 at 3:56 pm for improper lane usage and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

Chasity Marshall, 26, 610 79 Pines Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on August 26, 2015 at 3:56 pm for possession of methamphetamine.

St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division detectives conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for crossing over the fog line on Highway 182 near the Highway 90 junction in Berwick. Detectives made contact with the driver, Goins, and the passenger, Marshall. During the course of the traffic stop investigation, the Morgan City Police Department K-9 officer arrived on scene and indicated a response on the vehicle. Detectives searched the vehicle and located a large bag of crystal methamphetamine under the driver seat and a small bag of crystal methamphetamine on the rear passenger side floorboard. Both subjects were transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
