According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Areana Candanedo, 24, 402 Halsey Street #9, Morgan City, LA was arrested on August 24, 2015 at 11:20 am on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. A deputy made contact with Candanedo at a business on Highway 182 in Amelia and located an active warrant for her arrest. The deputy transported Candanedo to the parish jail for booking. Candanedo was released on a summons to appear on court on November 17, 2015.
Dustin M. Burch, 21, 213 Hendricks Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on August 25, 2015 at 2:15 am for criminal trespass and vagrancy.
Taylor J. Davis, 17, 124 Natalie Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on August 25, 2015 at 2:15 am for criminal trespass and vagrancy.
A deputy investigating a report of trespassing on property near the intersection of Field and South Roads in Bayou Vista located two male subjects on Canal Road matching the description of the trespassers. The deputy detained them. As the investigation progressed, the deputy identified them as Burch and Davis, the two subjects who were seen loitering in the area and trespassing on the property. The deputy transported both subjects to the parish jail. Both Burch and Davis were released on summonses to appear in court on November 17, 2015.
