Arrest Report - July 24, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 49 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Cole Fruge, 23, 1302 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on July 23, 2015 at 1:23 pm on a warrant for domestic abuse battery. Fruge turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin. A deputy investigating a report of battery that occurred at a residence in Bayou Vista learned that Fruge punched a female victim in the face after the victim told Fruge to leave the residence. A deputy transported Fruge to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Zachary Peralta, 30, 77111 Green Valley Road, Folsom, LA was arrested on July 23, 2015 at 8:24 pm for vehicle burglary, simple criminal damage to property, and (attempted) theft of a motor vehicle. A deputy responded to a report of a vehicle burglary at a business on Highway 90 in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that the suspect fled from the scene. Another deputy in the area located the suspect, identified as Peralta, walking on Highway 90 and detained him. As the investigation progressed, the deputy positively identified Peralta as the subject seen inside the pick-up truck. The deputy also collected evidence indicating that Peralta intended to steal the vehicle. The deputy transported Peralta to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Lashae Williams, 22, 3522 Apt. 40 Highway 182, Berwick, LA was arrested on July 23, 2015 at 8:17 pm on a warrant for failure to return leased merchandise.

 

Ronald Hall, 33, 3522 Apt. 40 Highway 182, Berwick, LA was arrested on July 23, 2015 at 8:20 pm on a warrant for failure to return leased merchandise.

 

A deputy received information on the whereabouts of two subjects who held active warrants for the Morgan City Police Department. The deputy located Williams and Hall at a business on Highway 90 in Bayou Vista. The deputy transported the two subjects to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Nakeisa Walker, 36, 291 Mallard Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on July 23, 2015 at 10:06 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, improper lane usage, failure to carry registration, and failure to honor written promise to appear. A deputy assigned to patrol the Bayou Vista area observed two subjects yelling at each other in the parking lot of a business on Highway 182. The deputy made contact with the subjects. While speaking with them, the deputy learned that one of the subjects, identified as Walker, had an active warrant for her arrest. The deputy transported Walker to the parish jail for booking. Walker was later released on a $335 bail.

 

Joey Viltz, 50, 2461 Highway 318, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on July 23, 2015 at 8:10 pm on a warrant for terrorizing and disturbing the peace. A deputy was dispatched to a residence in Jeanerette to a report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that Viltz yelled and cursed at a male victim threatening him. The deputy obtained a warrant for Viltz’s arrest and located him at his residence. The deputy transported Viltz to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Timothy Truong, 20, 160 Village Lane, Amelia, LA was arrested on July 24, 2015 at 2:05 am for domestic abuse battery.

 

Trinity Todd, 20, 160 Village Lane, Amelia, LA was arrested on July 24, 2015 at 2:05 am for domestic abuse battery.

 

A deputy responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence address listed above. Upon arrival, the deputy observed two subjects outside arguing. The deputy made contact with the subjects who were identified as Truong and Todd. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Truong and Todd were arguing when they committed a battery upon each other. The deputy transported both subjects to the parish jail. No bail is set.

 

Wayneisha Shaw, 24, 162 Mary Garret Lane, Charenton, LA was arrested on July 24, 2015 at 2:20 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace (fighting). A deputy assigned to patrol the Jeanerette area observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Big Four Corners Road and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Shaw, and learned that she did not have a driver’s license. During the course of the traffic stop investigation, the deputy located an active warrant for Shaw’s arrest. Shaw was also cited for speeding and for no driver’s license. The deputy transported her to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
