Arrest Report - July 22, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 38 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Steven Touchet, 24, 7158 Main Highway, St. Martinville, LA was arrested on July 21, 2015 at 1:23 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of driving under suspension and speeding. Touchet turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin on the warrant. Touchet was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $2,000.

 

Thomas C. Thompson, 41, 2809 First Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on July 21, 2015 at 5:48 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle with a suspended license and failure to obey a traffic control signal. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center a jailer located an active warrant for Thompson. No bail is set.

 

Rodney R. Williams, 37, 518 Belanger Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on July 22, 2015 at 12:52 am for aggravated assault with a firearm and disturbing the peace (intoxicated). A deputy responded to a complaint of an assault at a bar on Highway 182 in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that a male subject pointed two pistols at a female victim’s face before leaving in a pick-up truck. The deputy located the suspect, identified as Williams, at his residence. While speaking with Williams, the deputy smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his person. The deputy also observed that Williams’ speech was slurred. As the investigation progressed, the deputy located the two pistols in Williams’ truck. Williams was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
