Arrest Report - July 15, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 36 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Arthur Brazel, Jr., 36, 8006 Arrington Forest Lane, Humble, TX was additionally charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal trespassing. Brazel was booked into the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Following the booking, jailers located an active warrant for his arrest from the 16th Judicial District. No bail is set.

 

Barry Brice, 58, 4942 Chitimacha Trail, Charenton, LA was arrested on July 14, 2015 at 3:08 pm for criminal trespass, disturbing the peace (intoxicated), and littering. A deputy responded to a complaint of trespassing at a residence on Chitimacha Trail in Charenton. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that Brice was seen trespassing on the property. Brice also yelled and cursed at a female subject. As the deputy approached Brice, he was observed throwing a beer can into Bayou Teche. The deputy made contact with Brice and smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and person. Following the investigation, Brice was transported to the parish jail for booking. Brice was released on a summons to appear in court on October 14, 2015.

 

Richard Turner, Jr., 55, 733 ½ Utah Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on July 14, 2015 at 10:49 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of undersize red drum and possession over limit of red drum (on water). A deputy made contact with Turner at his residence and located the active warrant for his arrest. The deputy transported Turner to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
