Deputies Working to ID Motorcyclist Who Fled - Arrest Report June 29, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 72 hour weekend reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 109 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Deavnta Burden, 22, 111 BDC Lane, Verdunville, LA was arrested on June26, 2015 at 12:29 pm on a warrant for simple robbery and simple battery and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery. The warrant for simple robbery and simple battery charges stems from an investigation into a complaint of a robbery that took place at a residence on Highway 83. Detectives learned that Burden struck a relative in the face and took a small amount of cash from the male victim’s pocket. The victim sustained a black eye. Detectives located Burden at his residence on the warrants and transported him to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Travis Richardson, 26, 514 St. Mary Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on June 26, 2015 at 6:11 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, failure to use seatbelts, and failure to honor written promise to appear. A deputy responding to a complaint at a business on Highway 90 in Bayou Vista made contact with Richardson and learned of the active warrant for his arrest. The deputy transported Richardson to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Dylan M. Guillot, 26, 202 Hortense Street, New Iberia, LA was arrested on June 26, 2015 at 7:16 pm for the following violations:

- Aggravated flight from an officer

- Driving under suspension

- Modification of exhaust

- No mirrors

- No motor vehicle inspection

- No proof of motorcycle endorsement

- Switched license plate

Dispatch received a complaint of two motorcycles traveling at a high rate of speed on US Highway 90 eastbound in the Franklin area. A deputy responded and located two subjects matching the complainant’s description on US Highway 90 at LA Highway 317 in the Centerville area. The deputy initiated traffic stop. Both motorcycle drivers saw the deputy, failed to pull over, and accelerated. The deputy followed and advised dispatch to contact other agencies in the area to assist. Answering the call, Patterson Police observed one of the motorcycle drivers travel onto A.M. Gray Lane in Bayou Vista. In an attempt to evade police, the driver crashed the vehicle laying the motorcycle down. The driver then attempted to flee on foot. Patterson Police Officers apprehended the driver who was identified as Guillot. Guillot was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was later released after posting a $4,750 bond.

The deputy who initiated the traffic stop continued to follow the second motorcycle driver. The deputy received information from by-standers in the area that the subject fled down Southeast Boulevard. The deputy located the motorcycle, a black Suzuki, behind a business on Belleview Street. The driver of the vehicle, a white male, fled from the area. The driver was wearing a sleeveless camouflage shirt and dark colored shorts. He was wearing a black helmet and operating a black Suzuki GSX-R1000. The vehicle had no rear brake discs. Trevor Guillotte, 27, 633 Moresi Road, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on June 27, 2015 at 7:00 pm for driving under suspension and careless operation of a motor vehicle with a crash. A deputy responded to a report of a two vehicle crash on Highway 182 in the Franklin area. The deputy made contact with one of the drivers, identified as Guillotte, and learned that his driver’s license was suspended. During the investigation into the crash, the deputy learned that Guillotte was being inattentive at the wheel when he struck another vehicle in front of him. The deputy released Guillotte on a summons to appear in court on September 16, 2015.

 

Tony Teague, 46, 150 Mercury Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on June 28, 2015 at 2:25 am for domestic abuse battery and disturbing the peace (intoxicated). A deputy responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Teague struck a female victim. The deputy transported Teague to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Travis P. Romero, 43, 424 Aristile Road, Bayou L’Ourse, LA was arrested on June 28, 2015 at 2:30 am for reckless operation of a vehicle, flight from an officer, and on a warrant for violation of protective orders. A deputy observed a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on Highway 182 in the Siracusa area. The deputy initiated a traffic stop. The driver of the motorcycle failed to pull over. The deputy followed and alerted neighboring agencies. With the assistance of Louisiana State Police Troop C, the driver, identified as Romero, was apprehended without incident on Jolie Oaks Boulevard off of LA Highway 20 in Thibodaux. The deputy transported Romero to the parish jail for booking. Romero was released after posting a $5,000 bond.  

 

Rachelle D. Madison, 45, 311 Easy Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 28, 2015 at 1:33 pm for violation of the parish leash law. A deputy responded to a complaint of a dog running loose on Easy Street in Franklin. The deputy made contact with the animal’s owner, identified as Madison, and learned that the dog had gotten out of her yard and entered onto a neighbor’s property. The deputy released Madison on a summons to appear in court on September 16, 2015.

 

Brandon Privat, 19, 102 Avenleigh Drive, Lafayette, LA was arrested on June 28, 2015 at 6:50 pm for hit and run driving. On June 27, 2015, a deputy investigating a single vehicle crash on Chitimacha Trail in Charenton learned that the driver of the vehicle had left the scene. During the course of the investigation, the deputy located a driver’s license belonging to Privat inside the pick-up truck that was located in a ditch. On June 28, 2015, Privat came to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office to speak to a deputy about the crash. Privat admitted that he was the driver of the vehicle. Following the investigation, the deputy released Privat on a summons to appear in court on September 16, 2015.

 

Juvenile male, 16, Four Corners, LA was arrested on June 28, 2015 at 10:32 pm for disturbing the peace and resisting a police officer with force or violence. A deputy responded to a request to remove a subject from a residence in Four Corners. The deputy made contact with the subject, a juvenile male, and repeatedly advised him to step outside of the residence. The juvenile refused. During the arrest, the juvenile forcefully pulled away from the deputy. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Darla J. Andras, 52, 104 Bayou Boeuf Road, Bayou L’Ourse, LA was arrested on June 28, 2015 at 9:53 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft (over $500). A deputy responded to a request to remove a subject from a business on Highway 182 in Amelia. The deputy made contact with the subject, identified as Andras, and located the active warrant for her arrest. The deputy transported Andras to the parish jail for booking. Andras was released on a $10,000 bond.

 

Steven Morris, 28, 113 Vista Village Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on June 29, 2015 at 4:37 am for domestic abuse battery.

Ashley Bertrand, 27, 113 Vista Village Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on June 29, 2015 at 4:37 am for domestic abuse battery.

A deputy responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Steven and Ashley Morris were involved in an argument when they committed a battery upon each other. Both subjects were transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
