Arrest Report - June 25, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 35 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Tylan Bolden, 21, 408 Iberia Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 4, 2015 at 4:56 pm for theft. A deputy investigating a complaint of a stolen cell phone learned that Bolden found the phone on the ground at his place of employment in Centerville and then sold it to a coworker. The deputy located Bolden at his residence and following the investigation released Bolden on a summons to appear in court on September 16, 2015. The phone was returned to its owner.

 

Kenneth Phillips, 45, 128 Miggy Lane, Charenton, LA was arrested on June 24, 2015 at 7:17 am on a warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of probation. A deputy made contact with Phillips at his residence and learned of the active warrant for his arrest. The deputy transported Phillips to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $5,000.

 

Jonelle Waltman, 50, 1614 Church Street, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on June 24, 2015 at 4:35 pm on the following violations:

- Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while license suspended/revoked/canceled and speeding

- Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of distribution of codeine

- Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession/distribution/sale of a Legend Drug without a prescription

Waltman was brought in to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office by a bondsman on two bonds. During the booking process, a jailer located a third active warrant. No bail is set.

 

Renetta Clark, 52, 456 Verdun Lane, Verdunville, LA was arrested on June 24, 2015 at 7:15 pm for the following violations:

- Warrant for simple battery

- Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple assault and disturbing the peace

- Warrant for probation violation

A deputy made contact with Clark at her residence on the warrants. The warrant for simple battery stems from an investigation into a complaint of a battery. The deputy learned that Clark struck a male victim on the back of the head repeatedly. Clark was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Rainnie L. Simon, 23, 301A Venus Street, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on June 24, 2015 at 8:30 pm for violation of the parish ordinance leash law. A deputy responded to an animal complaint in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy located a dog on the loose in the area. The deputy made contact with the dog’s owner, Simon. The deputy spoke with Simon about the parish leash law and released her on a summons to appear in court on September 16, 2015.
