Arrest Report - June 16, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 48 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Tyler Davis, 18, 124 Natalie Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on June 15, 2015 at 10:23 am on a warrant for violation of protective orders. A deputy investigating a complaint received on May 17, 2015 determined that Davis attempted to make contact with a female victim via an online social network which directly violated a protective order. A deputy located Davis at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse on the warrant and transported him to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Kelli Hebert, 23, 900 Provost Street, Scott, LA was arrested on June 15, 2015 at 12:48 pm on a warrant for (felony) theft. On June 12, 2015, a detective investigating a complaint from a business owner in Franklin, learned that Hebert stole over $1,000 in cash from her employer. Hebert admitted to stealing the money from cash sales which she deleted from company bookkeeping software. Hebert turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin. A deputy transported her to the parish jail for booking. Hebert was later released on a personal surety bond.

 

Alyssa L. Ashmore, 25, 516 Fifth Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on June 15, 2015 at 7:44 pm on a warrant for simple battery. The warrant is the result of an investigation into a complaint of a battery that occurred on June 10, 2015 on Fairview Street in Bayou Vista. The deputy learned that Ashmore punched a female victim. Ashmore turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Morgan City after learning of the warrant for her arrest. A deputy transported Ashmore to the parish jail for booking. She was released on a $500 bond. Other subjects were also involved in the battery. This is the third arrest made in this case. The investigation is ongoing.

 

Eric T. Gaskins, 34, 129 Friendship Alley, Amelia, LA was arrested on June 15, 2015 at 11:32 pm for entering contraband into a penal institution. Gaskins turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center to serve time on an administrative sanction for probation/parole. During the booking process, deputies observed Gaskins attempting to conceal something in his mouth. During the subsequent investigation, deputies located Schedule IV Xanax pills. No bail is set.

 

Elizabeth Lewis, 23, 222 Fadal Street, Gibson, LA was arrested on June 16, 2015 at 2:33 am on the following warrants:

- Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal mischief

- Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of simple battery and resisting an

officer by refusing to give identity

- Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft of goods

- Warrant from Lafayette for failure to appear

Lewis was turned in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on bond surrender. During booking, deputies located the active warrants for her arrest. No bail is set.

 

Caswick Clark, 28, 302 Third Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on June 16, 2015 at 4:34 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and improper display of license plate. Clark was turned in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on bond surrender. During booking, deputies located the active warrant for his arrest. No bail is set.
