Arrest Report - May 21, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 38 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Ryan J. Delahoussaye, 21, 219 Onstead Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on May 20, 2015 at 1:08 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for a drug court status conference and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of Schedule I drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and abuse of toxic vapors. After receiving information regarding Delahoussaye’s whereabouts, a deputy made contact with him at a location on River Road in Berwick on the warrants. Bail is set at $200,000.

 

Joe K. Hathorn, 58, 917 Cherry Street, Morgan City, was arrested on May 20, 2015 at 2:55 pm on a warrant for failure to provide notification as a sex offender or child predator and on a warrant for failure to pay annual registration fee as a sex offender. A detective with the Sex Offender Compliance Division obtained a warrant for Hathorn, a convicted sex offender who failed to complete registration requirements. The detective located Hathorn at the Cherry Street address. No bail is set.

 

Jessica Rodriguez, 33, 1040 Canal Street, Apt. #10, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on May 20, 2015 at 3:14 pm on 5 warrants for failure to appear for a drug court status conference. A deputy located Rodriguez at a location on Hunting Road in Ricohoc on the warrants. Bail is set at $500,000.

 

Troy Charpentier, 34, 2717 Lee Drive, Pierre Part, LA was arrested on May 20, 2015 at 3:48 pm for the following violations:

- Improper lane usage

- Failure to signal

- No insurance

- Driving under suspension

- Failure to carry proof of registration

- Expired license plate

A deputy observed a vehicle changing lanes repeatedly without properly signaling any of the movements and conducted a traffic stop on Highway 90 in the Patterson area. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Charpentier, and learned that he was driving with a suspended license among other offenses. The deputy released Charpentier on a summons to appear in court on August 19, 2015.

 

Joshua C. Driskill, 22, 511 Barrow Street, Apt. B, Morgan City, LA was arrested on May 20, 2015 at 4:35 pm on a warrant for failure to register as a sex offender and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of indecent behavior with a juvenile. A detective with the Sex Offender Compliance Division obtained a warrant for Driskill, a sex offender who failed to comply with registration requirements. The detective also learned of another warrant for Driskill issued after he failed to appear for a probation review hearing. The detective located Driskill at his residence. No bail is set.

 

John D. McNemar, 46, 1505 Bernice Street, Morgan City, LA was charged with hit and run driving on May 20, 2015 at 10:14 pm. Deputies began an investigation into a report of hit and run driving that occurred in the Walmart parking lot in Bayou Vista on May 4, 2015 at approximately 7:40 am. The driver of a pick-up truck is seen on video surveillance backing out of a parking space and striking another vehicle parked on the opposite row. A picture of the driver was released to the public in an effort to identify the subject and complete the investigation. The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office received multiple tips from the community regarding the case. Deputies located McNemar at his residence and positively identified him as the driver. McNemar fully cooperated with deputies during the investigation. He was released on a summons to appear in court on August 19, 2015.
