According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 49 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Darrell Wilson, 56, 1236 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 18, 2015 at 9:24 pm for the following offenses:
- Driver must be licensed
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Possession of crack cocaine
- Possession of codeine
A deputy investigating a complaint at the above address made contact with Wilson after he pulled into the yard of the residence in a vehicle. The deputy requested to see his driver’s license and was told by Wilson that it was inside his residence. While inside the residence, the deputy observed a glass pipe consistent with illegal drug use. Through further investigation, the deputy located a piece of crack cocaine on Wilson’s person and a prescription bottle containing codeine that was not prescribed to Wilson. The deputy transported Wilson to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
Garrett Daigle, 20, 112 Ross Lane, Morgan City, LA was arrested on May 19, 2015 at 4:32 am for disturbing the peace and criminal trespass. A deputy investigating a report of a disturbance on Lagonda Road learned that Daigle banged on the side of a mobile home while yelling that he wanted to fight one of the residents. The deputy transported Daigle to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $750.
