Arrest Report - May 18, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 72 hour weekend reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 134 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Antonio Nieves, 32, Raceland, LA was arrested on May 15, 2015 at 2:16 pm for aggravated assault. A deputy responded to a business on Duhon Boulevard in Amelia in reference to a complaint of an assault. The deputy learned that Nieves threatened a male victim with a handgun during an argument. The deputy transported Nieves to the parish jail for booking. Nieves was later released on a $500 bond.

 

Derrick L. White, 28, 156 Roger Street, Charenton, LA was arrested on May 15, 2015 at 3:12 pm for disturbing the peace. A deputy was dispatched to a complaint of a disturbance at a residence on Roger Street in Charenton. The deputy learned that White argued and attempted to fight with another male subject. The deputy transported White to the parish jail for booking. White was later released on a summons to appear in court on August 19, 2015.

 

Brittany Stansbury, 19, 1400 N. Third Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on May 15, 2015 at 4:05 pm for theft. A detectives investigating a complaint of a theft identified Stansbury as the subject who stole jewelry from a relative’s home in the Patterson area and attempted to sell it at a local pawn shop. Stansbury was released on a summons to appear in court on August 19, 2015.

 

Ryan Savell, 31, 6556 Highway 182, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 15, 2015 at 10:19 pm for domestic abuse battery. A deputy assigned to patrol the Amelia area observed a male subject dragging a female subject in the parking lot of a business on Highway 182 and stopped to investigate. The deputy made contact with Savell and other witnesses at the scene and determined that Savell struck a female victim in the face. The deputy transported Savell to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Angel Strickland, 23, 114 Honey Lane, Bayou L’Ourse, LA was arrested on May 15, 2015 at 10:19 pm for domestic abuse battery. While conducting an investigation into a possible battery at a business on Highway 182 in Amelia, a deputy made contact with Strickland and learned that she hit and pulled a male victim on the arms while inside the business. The deputy transported Strickland to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Lachristy Colbert, 24, 106 E. Long Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on May 16, 2015 at 4:59 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt of court (failure to appear), operating a vehicle without a driver’s license, and failure to honor written promise to appear. A deputy investigating a complaint made contact with Colbert and learned of the active warrant for her arrest. The deputy transported Colbert to the parish jail for booking. Colbert was released on a $335 bond.

 

Louise Boudreaux, 39, 108 Cremo Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on May 16, 2015 at 9:02 am for careless operation of a motor vehicle and hit and run driving. A deputy was dispatched to a report of a crash on Highway 90 in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Boudreaux struck another vehicle as it was turning onto Highway 182. Boudreaux failed to stop continuing to travel west on Highway 90. The deputy transported Boudreaux to the parish jail for booking. She was later released on a summons to appear in court on August 19, 2015.

 

Beau K. Morris, 28, 5241 Highway 87, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 16, 2015 at 8:49 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of reckless operation of a vehicle and simple criminal damage to property. A deputy conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle on Hebert Lane in the Franklin area made contact with Morris and learned of the active warrant for his arrest. Morris was transported to the parish jail for booking. Morris was released on a recognizance bond.

 

Joshua J. Batte, 25, 122 Solar Trailer Park, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on May 16, 2015 at 6:31 pm for reckless operation of a vehicle and no registration. A deputy was dispatched to a report of an overturned vehicle in a sugarcane field off of St. Peters Road in Jeanerette. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Batte driving in the cane field when he lost control of the vehicle. Batte was released on a summons to appear in court on August 19, 2015.

 

Ryan Sullivan, 25, 127 Mendoza Drive, Ricohoc, LA was arrested on May 16, 2015 at 6:30 pm for disturbing the peace and theft.

Kayla Sullivan, 23, 127 Mendoza Drive, Ricohoc, LA was arrested on May 16, 2015 at 6:41 pm for disturbing the peace.

Christopher Ladner, 23, 127 Mendoza Drive, Ricohoc, LA was arrested on May 16, 2015 at 6:55 pm for disturbing the peace and simple criminal damage to property.

A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance outside of a residence on Mendoza Drive in Ricohoc. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that R. Sullivan took an electronic tablet from a male victim. Ladner and R. Sullivan engaged in a brief physical altercation. Also during the incident, Ladner threw a utility tool at a vehicle causing minor damage. During the disturbance, K. Sullivan was yelling profanities. K. Sullivan was released on a summons to appear in court on August 19, 2015. R. Sullivan and Ladner were transported to the parish jail for booking and were later released on summonses to appear in court on August 19, 2015.

 

Breonne Bowie, 27, 421 Lockette Road #2, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 16, 2015 at 7:48 pm for disturbing the peace and entering contraband into a penal institution. A deputy responded to a report of an intoxicated subject on Lockette Road in the Franklin area. Upon arrival, the deputy observed a male subject yelling profanities at passing vehicles. The deputy also observed the subject urinate on the side of the roadway. The deputy identified the subject as Bowie and transported him to the parish jail. During booking, trace amounts of marijuana were found on his person. No bail is set.

 

Alonia F. Shearron, 46, 805 Carl Foulcard Drive, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 16, 2015 at 10:21 pm on two warrants for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of probation and two warrants for issuing worthless checks. A deputy was contacted by Baldwin Police who had detained a subject on the warrants from the 16th Judicial District. A deputy located Shearron at the Baldwin Police Department and transported her to the parish jail for booking. She was later released on an $8,500 bond.

 

Micah Domingue, 21, 131 Jupiter Street, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on May 17, 2015 at 12:51 am for hit and run driving and reckless operation of a vehicle. A deputy responded to a report of a hit and run on Jupiter Street in Bayou Vista. The deputy located the suspect vehicle and made contact with the driver, identified as Domingue. The deputy learned that Domingue struck a speed limit sign on Jupiter Street and continued driving without reporting the crash. The deputy transported Domingue to the parish jail for booking. He was later released on a $1,500 bond.

 

Juvenile female, 16, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on May 17, 2015 at 3:38 am for being an ungovernable juvenile and on a warrant for unauthorized use of a moveable. A deputy responded to a complaint of an ungovernable juvenile at a residence in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that the juvenile left the residence at midnight without the permission of a guardian. The juvenile was also charged on the warrant for taking a vehicle without the owner’s permission. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Jose Hernandez Cerritos, 35, 136 Lenny’s Lane, Amelia, LA was arrested on May 17, 2015 at 4:22 am for reckless operation of a vehicle, no driver’s license, and no insurance. A deputy responded to report of a single vehicle crash on Odile Lane in Amelia. Upon arrival, the deputy located an SUV with the engine running that had struck the front of a mobile home. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Cerritos, and learned that he did not have a valid driver’s license or insurance. The deputy transported Cerritos to the parish jail for booking. He was later released on a $1,000 bond.

 

Jeremy J. Landry, 26, 921 Tenth Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 17, 2015 at 4:59 pm for the following violations:

- No driver’s license

- General speed law

- Expired license plate

- No registration

- Careless operation of a motor vehicle

- No insurance

A deputy assigned to patrol the Charenton area observed a vehicle travelling 70 miles per hour in a posted 45 mile per hour zone on Highway 87. The deputy also observed the driver of the vehicle swerving from lane to lane on the roadway. A traffic stop was conducted and the deputy made contact with the driver, Landry, who was operating the vehicle without a license. Following the investigation, the deputy released Landry on a summons to appear in court on August 19, 2015.

 

Matthew Strubb, 17, 1803 Canal Drive, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 17, 2015 at 9:10 pm for entry on or remaining in places or on land after being forbidden and disturbing the peace. A deputy was dispatched to a residence in Franklin where Strubb had returned after being told by a deputy earlier in the evening that he was not to go to the location. The deputy transported Strubb to the parish jail for booking. Strubb was released on a $1,000 bond.
