Arrest Report - April 20, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 72 hour weekend reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 116 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

James H. Wright, 26, 5310 Highway 182 Patterson, LA was arrested on April 7, 2015 at 11:46 am for domestic abuse battery and simple criminal damage to property. A deputy investigating a report of domestic violence learned that Wright grabbed a female victim by the arm and pushed her against a wall while at a residence in the Patterson area. As the victim left the location, Wright threw a brick at her vehicle damaging a headlight. The deputy transported Wright to the parish jail for booking.

 

Drizzt A. Morales, 18, Jeanerette, LA was additionally charged on a warrant for misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile on April 17, 2015 at 11:37 am. A detective with the Juvenile Division investigating a complaint of carnal knowledge of a minor learned that Morales had sexual intercourse with a 14 year old female juvenile while at a residence in Sorrel in January. The detective located Morales at the parish jail where he was incarcerated on other unrelated charges. No bail is set.

 

Trevor Thomas, 25, 202 N. Prairie Road, Centerville, LA was arrested on April 17, 2015 at 11:50 am on a warrant for probation violation. A deputy made contact with Thomas on Highway 182 in Centerville and discovered the active warrant for Thomas’ arrest. The deputy transported Thomas to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Michael Alpha, 37, 140 Mill Road Lot #42, Patterson, LA was arrested on April 19, 2015 at 1:58 pm on a warrant for molestation of a juvenile. A deputy investigating a report of molestation learned that Alpha inappropriately touched a 14 year old female juvenile at a residence in the Patterson area in late 2014. A deputy located Alpha at his residence on the warrant and transported him to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Walter Talbert, 49, 1801 Main Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on April 19, 2015 at 3:01 pm on a warrant for simple assault. The warrant stems from an investigation into a complaint of a female being threatened. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Talbert made a threat against a female victim’s life while the two were driving in separate vehicles in the Bayou Vista area. Talbert turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Morgan City. A deputy transported Talbert to the parish jail for booking. Talbert was later released on a $250 bond.

 

Brian K. Turner, Jr., 27, 140 Kemper Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on April 19, 2015 at 9:33 pm on a warrant from the Lafayette Police Department for failure to appear on the charge of rule violation of a protective order. While responding to a complaint on Kemper Road, a deputy made contact with Turner and discovered the active warrant for his arrest. No bail is set.

 

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

James Aucoin, 32, 1721 River Road Lot 20, Berwick, was arrested on April 17, 2015 at 1:26 pm was arrested on the following charges:

- Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute

- Possession of methamphetamine

- Possession of Schedule IV (Halcion)

- Possession of Legend Drug (Bactrim DS) without a prescription

- Possession of Legend Drug (diuretic) without a prescription

- Possession of Legend Drug (prednisone) without a prescription

- Transactions involving drug proceeds

- Warrant for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute; possession of marijuana with intent to distribute; possession of drug paraphernalia; and possession of Schedule IV (Xanax) with intent to distribute

Brooke McManus, 23, 1721 River Rd. Lot 20, Berwick, LA was arrested on April 17, 2015 at 1:26 pm on the following charges:

- Possession of marijuana

- Possession of methamphetamine

- Possession of Schedule IV (Halcion)

- Possession of Legend Drug (prednisone) without a prescription

- Possession of Legend Drug (diuretic) without a prescription

- Possession of Legend Drug (Bactrim DS) without a prescription

- Warrant for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of Schedule IV (Xanax) with intent to distribute, improper lane use

Tyler Brewer, 22, 400 Louisa Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on April 17, 2015 at 1:26 pm for possession of marijuana, 2nd offense.

Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division conducted an investigation into illegal drug activity at 1721 River Road Lot 20 and made contact with Brewer. Brewer admitted to detectives that he had marijuana on his person. As the investigation progressed, detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence and located marijuana, methamphetamine, Halcion pills, Legend Drugs, and $647 in cash (US currency). Aucoin and McManus were also located at the residence and placed under arrest on active warrants. The warrants stem from a prior traffic stop investigation during which detectives located methamphetamine, marijuana, Xanax pills, and drug paraphernalia. All three subjects were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.
