Arrest Report - April 6, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

Herman Delco, 32, 145 Odile Lane, Amelia, LA was arrested on April 2, 2015 at 11:01 pm for possession of crack cocaine. 

Mark A. Hilliard, 31, 1214 First Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on April 2, 2015 at 11:01 pm for the following offenses:

- Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute

- Possession of drug paraphernalia

- Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of cocaine, Possession Schedule I drugs 2nd offense, Possession of marijuana 2nd offense, and Possession of drug paraphernalia

- Warrant from the Patterson Police Department for sexual battery and theft

Detectives with the Narcotics Division observed Hilliard sitting in a vehicle parked at the Bayou Vista Truck Stop on Highway 182. Detectives were aware of the active warrants for Hilliard’s arrest. Detectives made contact with Hilliard and another occupant in the vehicle, identified as Delco. Detectives observed a cellophane bag containing rocks of crack cocaine in Delco’s hand. During the arrests, Hilliard was also found to be in possession of bags of cocaine and items of drug paraphernalia. Both subjects were transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the holiday weekend hour reporting period (Thursday-Sunday), the Sheriff’s Office responded to 146 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Ingrid L. Brown, 30, 259 Brooklyn Avenue, Houma, LA was arrested on April 2, 2015 at 2:23 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple criminal damage to property. Brown turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville. Brown was released on a $500 bond.

 

Dana Butler, 46, Patterson, LA was additionally charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of direct contempt, failure to use seatbelts, and failure to honor written promise to appear on March 2, 2015 at 8:44 pm. Butler was already incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. No bail is set.

 

Christina L. Pitre, 36, 179 Village Lane, Amelia, LA was arrested on April 3, 2015 at 2:30 pm for the following offenses:

- Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family

- 2 warrants for probation violation

A deputy assigned to patrol the Bayou Vista area located Pitre sitting outside of a residence on Cane Road. No bail is set.

 

Keith J. Johnson, 48, 1304 Third Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on April 3, 2015 at 9:49 pm for driving while intoxicated 2nd offense and possession of open alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles. A deputy assigned to patrol the Bayou Vista area responded to multiple complaints of a reckless driver on Highway 90. The deputy located the suspect vehicle in a ditch. The deputy initiated contact with the driver, identified as Johnson, who was sleeping at the wheel with the vehicle still in drive. The deputy observed that Johnson exhibited multiple signs of intoxication including an inability to maintain balance. Johnson later registered a 0.225g% blood alcohol concentration on a breath test. A cup containing an alcoholic beverage was also located inside the vehicle. The deputy transported Johnson to the parish jail for booking. Johnson was later released on a $10,000 bond.

 

Loretta Romero, 55, 1305 Jordan Street, New Iberia, LA was arrested on April 4, 2015 at 1:55 am for reckless operation of a vehicle. A deputy on Highway 90 in the Baldwin area encountered a vehicle travelling eastbound in the westbound lanes of the roadway and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy identified the driver as Romero. Following the investigation, Romero was transported to the parish jail for booking. She was later released on a summons to appear in court on July 22, 2015.

 

Toan Quan, 59, 227 Young Street, Abbeville, LA was arrested on April 4, 2015 at 8:23 pm for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving left of center. A deputy responding to complaint of a reckless driver observed a vehicle swerving on Highway 90 in the Jeanerette area. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Quan. The deputy smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from Quan’s breath and person. Quan later registered a 0.153g% blood alcohol concentration on a breath test. The deputy transported Quan to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Bobby Bolden, 44, 230 Thomas Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on April 4, 2015 at 10:24 pm on a warrant for domestic abuse battery and on w arrant for issuing worthless checks. A deputy responding to a complaint of a disturbance at a residence in the Franklin area made contact with Bolden and learned of the active warrants for his arrest. The warrant for domestic abuse stems from an investigation into a battery reported in November. The deputy conducting the investigation determined that Bolden struck a female victim in the mouth during an argument. Bolden was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Amber Bosshamer, 30, 3623 Euclid Street Apt. B, Houma, LA was arrested on April 5, 2015 at 3:30 am for disturbing the peace (fighting). A deputy responded to Burns Point State Park in reference to a complaint of several subjects fighting at the camp ground. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Bosshamer was involved in a physical altercation with several other subjects. The deputy released Bosshamer on a summons to appear in court on July 22, 2015. This complaint remains under investigation.

 

Carlos Alvarez, 22, 20478 Highway 182 W. Jeaneratte, LA was arrested on April 5, 2015 at 10:06 am on warrant for simple battery. The warrant stems from an ongoing investigation into a complaint that Alvarez put his hands on a juvenile female without her consent while at a residence in the Jeanerette area. A deputy located Alvarez at his residence on the warrant and transported him to the parish jail for booking. Alvarez was later released on a $500 bond. This complaint remains under investigation. No further details on the case are being released at this time.

 

Jami Bond, 29, 7257 Highway 182 Apt. 122, Morgan City, LA was arrested on April 5, 2015 on a warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, failure to use seatbelts, and failure to honor written promise to appear. A deputy located Bond at her residence on the warrants. Bail is set at $100,100.

 

Jesse A. Fernandez, 21, 2512 Cora Ann Street, Violet LA was arrested on April 6, 2015 at 4:03 am on a warrant from Iberia Parish for failure to appear on the charge for no seatbelt. A deputy conducting security checks at buildings in Cypremort Point observed a vehicle drive into the state park nearby. The deputy located the vehicle and made contact with several subjects. The deputy advised the subjects that the park was closed. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that one of the subjects, Fernandez, was wanted on an active warrant. The deputy transported Fernandez to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $100.
