Arrest Report - March 9, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

 

Eric Driskill, 39, 3107 Second Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on March 7, 2015 at 7:21 pm for the following offenses:

- Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute

- Possession of Schedule II (Oxycodone)

- Possession of Legend Drug (Folbee) without a prescription

- Possession of drug paraphernalia\

- Violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone)

- Possession of Schedule III (Subutex)

- Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
- Possession of a firearm in the presence of a CDS

 

Mary Driskill, 59, 3107 Second Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on March 7, 2015 at 7:21 pm for the following offenses:

- Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute

- Possession of Schedule II (Oxycodone)

- Possession of drug paraphernalia

- Violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone)

- Possession of Schedule III (Subutex)

- Possession of a firearm in the presence of a CDS

 

Gary Driskill, 62, 3107 Second Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on March 7, 2015 at 7:21 pm for the following offenses:

- Possession of methamphetamine

- Possession of drug paraphernalia

- Violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone)

- Possession of Schedule III (Subutex)

- Possession of a firearm in the presence of a CDS

 

Kathryn Vines, 42, 3107 Second Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on March 7, 2015 at 7:21 pm for the following offenses:

- Possession of methamphetamine

- Possession of drug paraphernalia

- Violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone)

- Possession of Schedule III (Subutex)

- Possession of a firearm in the presence of a CDS

 

St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division detectives conducting a joint investigation with the Berwick Police Department executed a no knock search warrant at 3107 Second Street in Berwick. The warrant was the result of an investigation into complaints that Eric Driskill and Mary Driskill were selling methamphetamine at the residence. While conducting the search, detectives located bags of methamphetamine, Oxycodone pills, several firearms, and several items of drug paraphernalia including digital scales and pipes. The residence is located one block away from two churches. Detectives also learned that Eric Driskill is a convicted felon. Following the investigation, all four subjects were transported to the parish jail for booking.

 

 

Ashanta August, 17, 305 Belanger St. Morgan City, LA was arrested on March 6, 2015 at 4:02 pm on a warrant for possession of marijuana. Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division made contact with August at an apartment complex on Hwy 182 in Morgan City on the warrant. Detectives released August on a summons to appear in court on June 17, 2015.

 

Addie Guidry, 36, 1915 River Road Lot 10 Berwick, LA was arrested on March 6, 2015 at 12:55 pm for possession of Legend Drug (Gabapentin) without a prescription and on a warrant for possession of Schedule II (Xanax) and possession of Legend Drug (Gabapentin) without a prescription. Narcotics detectives located Guidry at her residence on the warrant. During a search of Guidry's person, detectives located several Gabapentin pills. Guidry was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

 

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 72 hour weekend reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 82 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Juvenile male, 11, Franklin, LA was arrested on March 6, 2015 at 12:59 pm for simple battery. A deputy assigned to the St. Mary Alternative School observed a student punch another student while in the cafeteria. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Anthony Pennison, 43, 100 Lori Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on March 6, 2015 at 6:25 pm for simple battery and disturbing the peace. A deputy responded to a complaint of a fight in progress on Shannon Lane in Patterson. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Pennison started an altercation with a male victim striking him in the head multiple times. The deputy transported Pennison to the parish jail for booking. Pennison was later released on a summons to appear in court on June, 17, 2015.

 

Trey Breaux, 23, 915 Julia Street, New Iberia, LA was arrested on March 8, 2015 at 2:27 pm for threatening a public official and disturbing the peace (language and noise). Deputies received a request from Chitimacha Police to assist in removing a subject from a residence on Jena Street in Charenton. Sheriff’s deputies removed Breaux from the home and transported him to a nearby business so that Breaux could obtain a ride to his residence. While at the business, Breaux began to curse loudly causing a disturbance in the parking lot. Deputies also learned that Breaux had previously made threats towards police officers. A deputy subsequently transported Breaux to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $1,500.
