Arrest Report- February 20, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 42 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Preston Wade, 24, 1048 Ciro St, Morgan City LA, was arrested on February 19, 2015 at 2:50pm for simple battery and a warrant on the charge of simple battery. Deputies patrolling the Siracusaville area responded to a report of a fight on Grace St. During the course of the investigation, deputies learned that Wade pushed a pregnant female into a ditch and punched, kicked and pulled her hair.

 

The warrant for the charge of simple battery stems from a complaint called into the Sheriff’s Office on January 20, 2015. Deputies learned that Wade had pushed a female victim through a screen door. Wade was arrested and transported to the parish jail. Bail is set at $1,000.

 

Bryson Skinner, 20, 1061 Grace St, Morgan City LA, was arrested on February 19, 2015 at 3:09pm for the following Terrebonne Parish Warrants:

  • - Failure to appear on charges of speeding and operating a vehicle without a license (Terrebonne Parish)
  • - Failure to appear on the charges of disturbing the peace (Terrebonne Parish)
  • - Failure to appear on charges of operating a vehicle without a license and failure to obey traffic control signals

 

A deputy conducting a background check for Skinner at the Sheriff’s Office in Franklin learned of the active warrants for his arrest. Skinner was arrested and transported to the parish jail. Bail is set at $574.50.

 

Micquelon Hensley, 24, 1302 Adrian St Apt #81, New Iberia LA, was arrested on February 19, 2015 at 3:15pm on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of speeding, operating a vehicle with a suspended license, improper use of registration/ license plate. Hensley turned himself in to the St Mary Parish Warrants Division in Franklin. He was arrested and transported to the parish jail. Hensley was released on a $5,000 bond.

 

Kendrick Jackson, 22, 2237 Highway 318, Jeanerette LA, was arrested on February 19, 2015 at 8:40pm for disturbing the peace by fighting. A deputy assigned to patrol the Jeanerette area responded to a fight in progress on Sorrel Ln. The deputy learned that Jackson was involved in a fight amongst three other individuals. Jackson admitted to taking part in the fight. Jackson was arrested and transported to the parish jail. No bail is set.

 

Juvenile male, 14, Jeanerette LA, was arrested on February 19, 2015 at 8:40pm for disturbing the peace by fighting. A deputy assigned to patrol the Jeanerette area responded to a fight in progress on Sorrel Ln. The deputy learned that juvenile male was involved in a fight amongst three other individuals. The juvenile male admitted to taking part in the fight. He was arrested and released to a parent pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

                

Paige Mabe, 26, 2847 4th St, Berwick LA, was arrested on February 19, 2015 at 8:28pm on charges of possession of synthetic marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. While patrolling the area of Bayou Vista, detectives with the St. Mary Parish Narcotics Division observed a vehicle fail to utilize their turn signal when making a turn. A traffic stop was conducted and contact with the occupants of the vehicle was made. Detectives searched the vehicle and located two synthetic marijuana cigarettes and items of drug paraphernalia. Mabe, a passenger in the vehicle, was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on May 12, 2015.

 

Christopher Haynes, 32, 119 Martin St, Patterson LA, was arrested on February 19, 2015 at 8:28pm on charges of possession of synthetic marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to signal a turn. While patrolling the area of Bayou Vista, detectives with the St. Mary Parish Narcotics Division observed a vehicle fail to utilize their turn signal when making a turn. A traffic stop was conducted and contact with the occupants of the vehicle was made. Detectives searched the vehicle and located two synthetic marijuana cigarettes and items of drug paraphernalia. Haynes, the driver of the vehicle, was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on May 12, 2015.
