According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Taylor Joseph Davis, 18, 124 Natalie Ln, Patterson LA, was arrested on February 18, 2015 at 2:06pm for a warrant on charges of criminal trespass, disturbing the peace and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. Davis turned himself in to authorities after learning of the active warrant.
The warrant stems from a complaint called into the Sheriff’s Office on February 11, 2015. During the course of that investigation, deputies learned that Davis attempted to gain entry into a victim’s home in Bayou Vista by banging on a door. Davis was arrested and transported to the parish jail. Bail is set at $6,500.
Troy Benoit, 51, 133 CJC Ln, Patterson LA, was arrested on February 18, 2015 at 4:28pm for a warrant on the charge of domestic abuse battery. Benoit was located on Kem St in Patterson.
The warrant stems from an investigation concerning an incident of domestic abuse battery reported on February 12, 2015. Investigators learned that Benoit and a female victim were involved in an argument. Benoit threw the female down on the ground and then grabbed her face and neck. The female victim suffered broken ribs and a collapsed lung. Benoit was arrested and transported to the parish jail. No bail is set.
According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:
Jakkia Dalcour, 24, 623 Williams St, Morgan City LA, was arrested on February 18, 2015 at 5:18pm for a warrant on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Detectives with the St Mary Parish Narcotics Division located Dalcour at a local business in Morgan City.
The warrant stems from an investigation concerning illegal drug activity. Dalcour was arrested and released on a summons to appear in court on May 12, 2015.
