Arrest Report- February 3, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 38 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

 

Kellie Boudreaux, 31, 101 Williow Bend Ln, Franklikn LA, was arrested on February 2, 2015 at 9:00am, on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of stop sign violation and no child restraint. Boudreaux was also arrested for a warrant on the charges of possession of a legend rug without prescription and possession of carisoprodol. A deputy conducting a standard warrants check at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center learned of the active warrant for arrest. No bail is set.

 

Devin Mayon, 21, 219 Grey Eagle Rd, Charenton LA, was arrested February 2, 2015 at 12:21pm, on a warrant for the charge of carnal knowledge of a juvenile. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted in January 2015 by the detective division. Detectives learned that Mayon had sexual relations with a female juvenile. At the time of arrest, Mayon was housed at the parish jail. No bail is set.

 

Colby Roy, 21, 215 Cajun St, Broussard LA, was arrested on February 3, 2015 at 01:59am, on charges of possession of a schedule I narcotic and possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy assigned to patrol the Franklin area made contact with Roy on BDC Ln. During the course of the deputy’s contact with Roy, Roy was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and later relased on a summons to appear in court on May 12, 2015.

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

                

Ray Ingram, 21, 413 Lawrence St, Morgan City LA, was arrested on February 2, 2015 at 4:45pm on charges of stop sign violation and possession of marijuana. Detectives with the Narcotics Division conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Federal Ave in Morgan City. During the course of the investigation, Ingram was found to be in possession of a bag of marijuana. Ingram was arrested and later released on a summons to appear in court on May 12, 2015.

 

Christoper Singleton, 39, 1045 Ramos St, Morgan City LA, was arrested on February 2, 2015 at 6:00pm on charges of failure to signal, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, transactions involving proceeds, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of the controlled dangerous substance law as it relates to drug free zones.

 

Detectives with the St Mary Parish Narcotics Division and officers with the Morgan City Police department Narcotics Division conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on 6th in Morgan City near a school. During the course of that investigation, detectives located marijuana and several items of drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Singleton was placed under arrest and transported to the parish jail. No bail is set.

 

Eric Sawnson, 36, 1207 G. Main St, Patterson LA, was arrested on February 2, 2015 at 9:48pm on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Chad Bertrand, 30, 512 Joey St , Patterson LA, was arrested on February 2, 2014 at 9:48pm on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and for a warrant for violation of protective orders.

 

On February 2, 2015, detectives with the narcotics division and detectives with the Morgan City Police Department narcotics division were patrolling the area of Patterson when they observed a vehicle fail to use its turn signal. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and contact was made with the driver, Chad Bertrand, and the passenger Eric Swanson. While speaking with Bertrand and Swanson, they were both found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Swanson was also found to be in possession of Methamphetamine. During a standard warrants check, Bertrand was found to have a warrant for his arrest through the Patterson Police Department for violation of a protective order. Bertrand and Swanson were placed under arrest and transported to the parish jail. No bail has been set on either.
