Arrest Report - January 15, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Kirk Edmond, 45, 111 School House Road, Charenton, LA was arrested on January 14, 2015 at 1:29 pm on a warrant for illegal possession of stolen things. A deputy located Edmond at his residence on the warrant and transported him to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set. The warrant stems from an investigation that began in December 2013 after the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of a stolen outboard motor and a crawfish sorting tray from a residence in Charenton.

 

Louis Baldez, 19, 204 South Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, LA was arrested on January 14, 2015 at 2:53 pm for no drivers license and possession of Schedule I. A deputy responding to a complaint of a reckless driver conducted a traffic stop on Highway 90 in the Baldwin area. The deputy made contact with the driver, Baldez, who was unable to provide a valid driver’s license. Continuing the investigation, the deputy received consent to search the vehicle and located a small baggy containing a green leafy substance identified as marijuana. The deputy transported Baldez to the parish jail for booking. Baldez was later released on a summons to appear in court on April 7, 2015.

 

ReTina Guillot, 28, 415 Highway 20, Schriever, LA was arrested on January 14, 2015 at 4:22 pm for theft of goods, possession of Schedule II, and possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. The deputy learned from store personnel that Guillot was seen taking items out of packages and concealing the items in her purse. The deputy conducted a search of Guillot’s purse, locating the stolen items and a clear plastic baggy containing crystallized methamphetamine. The deputy transported Guillot to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bail is set.

 

Rayna Kuhn, 51, 1720 Highway 182 #2, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on January 15, 2015 at 12:27 am for disturbing the peace (intoxicated). A deputy working near the corner of Jupiter Street on Highway 182 heard screaming coming from the vicinity of Rose Lane and responded. The deputy made contact with Kuhn and smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on her person. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Kuhn caused a disturbance in the neighborhood when she began screaming at a female subject, exited a residence, and pulled an air conditioning unit from a window. The deputy transported Kuhn to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $500.

 

Tasha Louis, 32, 1053 ½ Casey Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on January 14, 2015 at 10:12 pm for disturbing the peace.

 

Juvenile female, 16, Franklin, LA was arrested on January 14, 2015 at 10:12 for disturbing the peace.

 

A deputy conducting a traffic stop on Gumpoint Lane in the Franklin area heard a disturbance coming from Isaac Street and responded. During the course of the investigation, the deputy determined that Louis and the juvenile had driven from one location to another and were continuously yelling at other subjects in the neighborhood causing a disturbance in the community. The deputy released Louis on a summons to appear in court on April 7, 2015. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
