Arrest Report - January 14, 2015

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 36 complaints and reports the following arrests:
 

Brennan Skinner, 22, 1061 Grace Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on January 13, 2015 at 10:23 am on a warrant for unauthorized use of an access card. A deputy assigned to the Warrants Division located Skinner at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin. The warrant was obtained following an investigation into a complaint that a credit card had been used without the cardholder’s permission at a Bayou Vista store. The detective assigned to the case identified Skinner as the subject seen on video surveillance using the victim’s card to purchase over $590 in merchandise. Skinner was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Monica Hebert, 26, 111 Robicheaux Lane, Verdunville, LA was arrested on January 13, 2015 at 11:13 am on a warrant from Lafourche Parish for theft. A deputy located Hebert at her residence on the warrant. The deputy transported Hebert to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Jonathan Ruffin, 27, 5250 N. Bayou Black Drive, Gibson, LA was arrested on January 13, 2015 at 1:09 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family. A deputy assigned to the Warrants Division located Ruffin at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin. The deputy transported Ruffin to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $13,497.14.

 

Jessica D. Johnson, 38, 853 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on January 13, 2015 at 2:50 pm on a warrant for violating the parish leash law. A deputy assigned to the Warrants Division located Johnson at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin. The warrant stems from an investigation into a complaint of a dog on the loose without a leash on Irish Bend Road. The deputy released Johnson on a summons to appear in court on April 7, 2015.

 

Jackie Naquin, 34, 6772 Grand Caillou Road, Dulac, LA was arrested on January 13, 2015 at 9:19 pm for resisting an officer (providing false information) and on a warrant from Terrebonne Parish for failure to appear for probation hearing on the charge of resisting an officer. A deputy assigned to patrol the Amelia area responded to a complaint of a disturbance at a residence on Lake Palourde Road. The deputy made contact with a female subject who was visiting the residence. The subject repeatedly gave the deputy a false name. As the investigation progressed, the deputy identified the subject as Naquin. Naquin admitted to giving a false name in an attempt to avoid arrest on an active warrant. The deputy transported Naquin to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $4,000.
