Arrest Report December 10, 2014

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 46 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Drizzt Morales, 18, 2134 Lagrange Robicheaux Rd, Franklin LA, was arrested on December 9, 2014 at 9:08am on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of careless operation of a vehicle and operating a vehicle without a driver’s license. A deputy assigned to the Franklin area came into contact with Morales and learned of his active warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the parish jail for booking. Morales was later released on a bond amount of $334.50.

 

David Carline, 56, 128 Diane Ln, Patterson LA, was arrested on December 9, 2014 at 9:43am on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. Carline presented himself to the Sheriff’s Office in Franklin where it was learned that he had an active warrant for his arrest. The warrants division arrested Carline and later released him on a summons to appear in court in February 18, 2015.

 

Lynn Fields, 55, 126 Natalie Ln, Patterson LA, was arrested on December 9, 2014 at 11:38am for violation of the parish ordinance pertaining to vicious animals. A deputy responded to an incident of a dog running loose on Diane Ln. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that the dog had bitten someone. Fields was identified as the canine’s owner. Fields was released on a summons to appear to court on March 11, 2015.

 

Teldrich Toussaint, 17, 118 Fox Ln, Franklin LA, was arrested on December 9, 2014 at 12:38pm for disturbing the peace by fighting. A school resource officer responded to a fight at the St Mary Parish Alternative School between two students. The school resource officer observed Toussaint and a male juvenile to be fighting. Toussaint was arrested and transported to the parish jail for booking. He was released on a summons to appear in court on March 11, 2015.

 

Juvenile male, 16, Franklin LA, was arrested on December 9, 2014 at 12:38pm for disturbing the peace by fighting. A school resource officer responded to a fight at the St Mary Parish Alternative School between two students. The school resource officer observed the male juvenile fighting with another student. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

Gia Gautier, 51, 712 Federal Ave, Morgan City LA, was arrested on December 9, 2014 at 1:19pm for reckless operation of a vehicle and driving while intoxicated. A deputy assigned to patrol the Patterson area responded to a complaint of a reckless driver on Highway 90. The deputy observed traffic violations by the driver of the vehicle. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Gautier. During the course of the investigation, the deputy found Gautier to be impaired. Gautier was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Jose Ojeda, 28, 139 Westside Ln, Amelia LA, was arrested on December 9, 2014 at 4:37pm for 31 warrants on the charge of criminal damage to property. Detectives investigated a rash of tire slashings in the Amelia area on December 8, 2014. Over 30 vehicles had been reported as being damaged. During the course of the investigation, contact was made with Ojeda. Ojeda admitted to puncturing vehicle tires on several streets in Amelia. Ojeda is currently housed at the parish jail on unrelated charges. No bail is set.

 

Tyjuan Lockley, 23, 106 Ronnie St, Baldwin LA, was arrested on December 10, 2014 at 12:27am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of failing to use a seatbelt. A deputy patrolling the Bayou Vista area conducted a traffic stop on Highway 90 after receiving a complaint of a reckless driver. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Lockley, and learned of the active warrant for his arrest. Lockley was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was released after paying a $100 fine.

 

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

                

Male juvenile, 16, Franklin LA, was arrested on December 9, 2014 at 4:43pm for a warrant on the charge of abuse of toxic vapors. The warrant stems from an investigation concerning illegal drug activity. Detectives located the male juvenile in Franklin. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Larry Swails, 25, 815 Highway 90 #118, Patterson LA, was arrested on December 9, 2014 at 7:55pm for possession of marijuana. Detectives with the narcotics division conducted a vehicle stop on Jordan Ln in Bayou Vista after observing a traffic violation. Detectives observed the passenger in the vehicle, identified as Swails, conceal a bag of marijuana. Swails was arrested and transported to the parish jail for booking. He was later released on a summons to appear in court on March 11, 2015.
