Arrest Report December 9, 2014

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 81 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Jose Ojeda, 26, 139 West Side Ln, Amelia LA, was arrested on December 8, 2014 at 6:25am for disturbing the peace. A deputy assigned to the Amelia area investigated numerous calls of a reckless driver. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Ojeda, at his residence and found him to be intoxicated. Ojeda was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $500.

 

Nathanial Clark, 57, 1015 Grace St, Morgan City LA, was arrested on December 8, 2014 at 11:30am for unauthorized use of an access card as theft and for a warrant on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A detective investigated a complaint involving the theft of checks from a victim in Morgan City on December 4, 2014. During the course of the investigation, contact was made with Clark. Clark admitted to attempting to cash a stolen check, written in the amount of $1,500. The deputy also learned that Clark had an active warrant for his arrest. Clark was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Stephen Sliter, 44, 108 Watson St, Patterson LA, was arrested on December 8, 2014 at 1:19pm for domestic abuse battery. A deputy responded to a report of a disturbance in Patterson. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Sliter and a female victim were involved in an argument when Sliter pushed and shoved the victim’s face. Sliter was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Troy Russell Billiot, 27, 5300 Highway 182 Lot 3, Patterson LA, was arrested on December 8, 2014 at 5:05pm for disturbing the peace by fighting. A deputy responded to a disturbance at a residence in Bayou Vista. As the investigation progressed, the deputy learned that Troy Russell Billiot was involved in a fistic encounter. Troy Russell Billiot was transported to the parish jail for booking. Troy Russell Billiot was released on a $500 bond.

 

Troy Billiot, 49, 312 Venus Rd, Bayou Vista LA, was arrested on December 8, 2014 at 5:05pm for disturbing the peace by fighting. A deputy responded to a disturbance at a residence in Bayou Vista. The deputy learned that Troy Billiot was involved in a fistic encounter. Billiot was transported to the parish jail for booking. Billiot was released on a summons to appear in court on March 11, 2015.

 

Nhirobi Dewey, 18, 917 Railroad Ave, Morgan City LA, was arrested on December 8, 2014 at 6:20pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery. Detectives conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 182 in Morgan City. Detectives made contact with the driver, Dewey, and learned of the active warrant for his arrest. Dewey was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

                

Brent Rock Sr, 45, 133 Clarke Rd, Bayou Vista LA, was arrested on December 8, 2014 at 4:42pm for a warrant on the charge of attempted possession of crack cocaine. Detectives located Rock at his residence. The warrant stems from an investigation, conducted by detectives, concerning illegal drug activity. Rock was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was later released on a $7,500 bond.
