Arrest Report December 8, 2014

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 72 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 103 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Samantha Landry, 27, 4309 Highway 14, New Iberia LA, was arrested on December 5, 2014 at 5:58pm on a warrant for shoplifting. A deputy conducted a traffic stop on Highway 90 in the Bayou Vista area. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Landry, and learned of the active warrant for her arrest. The warrant for shoplifting stems from a complaint received in November. Deputies learned that Landry had stolen merchandise from a business in Bayou Vista. Landry was transported to the parish jail for booking. She was later released on a summons to appear in court on March 11, 2015.

 

Jason Giroir, 36, 316 Cedar St, Franklin LA, was arrested on December 5, 2014 at 7:41pm for simple criminal damage to property. Deputies executed an order of protective custody on Giroir at his residence. During the transport to a treatment center, Giroir kicked the patrol vehicle’s window causing damage. Giroir was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was released on a summons to appear in court on February 18, 2015.

 

 

Paul Daigle, 36, 101 3B’s Ln Apt 20, Bayou Vista LA, was arrested on December 6, 2014 at 6:15pm for domestic abuse battery. A deputy responded to a report of a disturbance in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Daigle and a female victim were involved in an argument when Daigle struck the female in the face. Daigle was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Roger Grow, 47, 315 Iowa St, Morgan City, was arrested on December 6, 2014 at 11:07pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy assigned to the Bayou Vista area located Grow at a business and learned of the active warrant for his arrest. Grow was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $24,757.25.

 

John Costales, 30, 122 First St, Boutte LA, was arrested on December 7, 2014 at 3:15pm for hit and run and driving while intoxicated. A deputy patrolling the Patterson area responded to a report of a reckless driver on Highway 90. During the course of the investigation, the deputy found Costales to be intoxicated and learned that he had struck a guardrail while driving. Costales was transported to the parish jail and later released on a summons to appear in court on March 11, 2015.

 

 

Breiana Gant, 22, 323 Martin Luther King Ave, Patterson LA, was arrested on December 7, 2014 for a warrant on the charge of shoplifting. Gant turned herself in to the parish jail after learning of the active warrant for her arrest. The warrant for shoplifting stems from a complaint received in November. Deputies learned that Gant had stolen merchandise from a business in Bayou Vista. Gant was transported to the parish jail for booking. She was later released on a summons to appear in court on March 11, 2015.
