Arrest Report November 18, 2014

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Juvenile male, 16, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on November 17, 2014 at 10:51 am for disturbing the peace (fighting). A deputy investigating a fight that occurred Thursday evening at West St. Mary High School identified the juvenile as one of the subjects involved in the altercation. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Ashley M. Adams, 30, 10611 Highway 182, Garden City, LA was arrested on November 17, 2014 at 11:30 am on a warrant for two counts of issuing worthless checks. A deputy located Adams at her residence on the warrant. Adams was released on a summons to appear in court on February 10, 2015.

 

Sidney T. Ricard, 44, 333 Woodslong Avenue Houma, LA was arrested on November 17, 2014 at 11:39 am on a warrant for theft. A deputy transported Ricard from the Lafourche Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. The warrant stems from an investigation into a residential theft that occurred at a home in Amelia on October 29, 2014. The detective assigned to the case identified Ricard as the subject who was seen stealing several items from beneath a carport. No bail is set.

 

Xavier McGhee, 23, 413 Ninth Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on November 18, 2014 at 12:13 am for possession of Schedule I (marijuana) with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of Schedule I.  Deputies responded to a request for assistance from Chitimacha and Franklin Police during an investigation involving a missing juvenile. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from the officers that they observed McGhee sitting with marijuana in his lap inside a vehicle parked on Edmond Lane in Charenton. Upon seeing the officers, McGhee attempted to hide the illegal drug beneath the seat of the vehicle. Deputies made contact with McGhee and learned that he was also wanted on an active warrant. Following the investigation, McGhee was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bail is set.

 

Michael Spry, 46, 116 Pecan Court Westwego, LA was arrested on November 17, 2014 at 11:39 pm for reckless operation of a vehicle and hit and run driving. While en route to the scene of a reported single vehicle crash on Lake Palourde Road in Amelia, deputies received information that the driver involved in the crash left the scene in another vehicle. A deputy arrived on Lake Palourde Road and observed a car that came to a rest in a field after striking two phone junction boxes and a fire hydrant. Another deputy located the suspect car that left the scene at a business on Highway 182 in Amelia and made contact with Spry, who was identified as the registered owner of the crashed vehicle. Spry admitted to losing control of the car and driving it into the field. The deputy transported Spry to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $1,500.

 

Sana Khan, 26, 402 Halsey Street Apt. 10 Morgan City, LA was arrested on November 18, 2014 at 2:02 am for disturbing the peace (intoxication) and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. A deputy responded to a complaint of a possible unauthorized entry of a home on Little Flower Lane in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy located Khan in a bathroom of the residence and detained her pending further investigation. The deputy discovered that Khan broke a window and entered the home after being told by the resident that she was not welcome there. Khan also appeared to be intoxicated. The deputy transported Khan to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
