Arrest Report November 7, 2014

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Henderson Wesley, 22, 11416 Old Jeanerette Road, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on November 6, 2014 at 12:30 pm and booked into the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville on a warrant for 2nd degree murder. A deputy transported Wesley from Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in Beaumont, TX to the parish jail. Adam Roy, 28, 701 Onstead Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on November 6, 2014 at 2:54 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Roy was transported from the Morgan City Police Department to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for housing. During booking, a deputy learned of the active warrant for his arrest.

 

Jason M. Aucoin, 39, 123 Miller Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on November 6, 2014 at 3:53 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy located Aucoin in Bayou Vista on the warrant. The deputy transported Aucoin to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $31,612.01.

 

Dwan Williams, 29, Franklin was additionally charged with entering contraband into a penal institution on November 6, 2014 at 5:02 pm. During a routine search of a dorm, jailers located a cell phone belonging to Williams. Williams remains incarcerated.

 

Christian Butron-Gonzalez, 33, 132 Francis Street Lot #25 Patterson, LA was arrested on November 6, 2014 at 7:24 pm for domestic abuse battery (child endangerment). A deputy responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the Patterson area. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Butron-Gonzalez grabbed a female victim and pushed her into a counter top while yelling at her. The abuse took place in the presence of a minor. The deputy transported Butron-Gonzalez to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Cody Leblanc, 19, 625 West Lablanc Road Delcambre, LA was arrested on November 6, 2014 at 10:32 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of disturbing the peace, no seat belt, and reckless operation of a vehicle. A bondsman turned Leblanc in on a bond surrender at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

 

 

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

                                        

Justin Sons, 24, 125 Shannon Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on November 6, 2014 at 4:59 pm for possession of synthetic cannabinoids 2nd offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jessica Brown, 22, 125 Shannon Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on November 6, 2014 at 4:59 pm for possession of synthetic cannabinoids 3rd offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division investigating complaints of illegal drug activity went to the address listed above and made contact with Sons and Brown. While speaking with the subjects, detectives received consent to search the residence and located bags of synthetic cannabinoids as well as wraps. Also during the investigation, detectives learned that Brown had two prior convictions for possession of Schedule I drugs and Sons had one prior possession of Schedule I conviction. Both were transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Damenn Engleton, 25, 309 Egle Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on November 6, 2014 at 8:07 pm for the following offenses:

- Possession of synthetic cannabinoids with intent to distribute

- Possession of marijuana, 3rd offense

- Possession of ecstasy with intent to distribute

- Possession of drug paraphernalia

- Illegal use of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile

- Possession of a CDS in a drug free zone

Narcotics detectives conducted a search warrant at 309 Egle Street. Upon entering the residence, detectives made contact with Engleton and several juveniles. Detectives located synthetic cannabinoids, marijuana, a bag of ecstasy, and items of drug paraphernalia. The residence was located within 2000 feet of a church. Engleton was transported to the parish jail. No bail is set.
