Arrest Report October 31, 2014

According to Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 36 complaints and reports no arrests from the Uniformed Patrol Division.

The Narcotics Division made the following arrests:

                                        

Donald McCormick, 26, 111 Robicheaux Road, Verdunville, LA was arrested on October 30, 2014 at 5:55 pm for driving left of center, driving under suspension, and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of burglary of an inhabited dwelling and the theft.

 

Anna Hebert, 35, 232 Wayne Lane Centerville, LA was arrested on October 30, 2014 at 5:57 pm for possession of Schedule I (synthetic cannabinoids), possession of drug paraphernalia, and abuse of toxic vapors.

 

Danny Savoie, 37, 1430 North Prairie Road Circle Centerville, LA was arrested on October 30, 2014 at 5:57 pm for possession of Schedule I (synthetic cannabinoids), possession of drug paraphernalia, and abuse of toxic vapors.

 

Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for crossing the fog line and centerline of Highway 317 in the Centerville area. Detectives made contact with the driver, McCormick, and two passengers, Hebert and Savoie. While speaking with the subjects, detectives learned that McCormick held an active warrant for his arrest. Also during the course of the investigation, detectives located synthetic cannabinoids, and rolling papers belonging to Hebert and Savoie inside the vehicle. McCormick was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $11,250. Hebert and Savoie were released on summonses to appear in court on January 26, 2015.
