St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 46 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Herman Delco, 36, 131 Odile Lane, Lot #145 was arrested on May 14, 2018 at 2:22 pm on a warrant for simple burglary. A deputy investigating a call for service regarding a burglary on Barrow Street in Amelia identified Delco as a suspect in the crime. The deputy collected evidence that Delco entered the victim’s home and stole multiple items. Delco was an acquaintance of the victim. The deputy obtained a warrant for Delco’s arrest. A deputy assigned to court security located Delco at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse on the warrant. Delco was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.
