Arrest Report - March 28, 2018

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 48 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Darryl Ruffin, 61, 111 View Orleans Circle D, Lafayette, LA was arrested on March 26, 2018 at 3:30 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional deputy located an active warrant for Ruffin’s arrest. Bail is set at $13,669.20.

 

Sharice Richard, 23, 200 Martin Luther Kind Boulevard, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on March 26, 2018 at 3:36 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of no insurance, no driver’s license on person, and improper parking. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional deputy located an active warrant for Richard’s arrest.

 

Guy Mabile, 42, 119 Verret Street, Pierre Part, LA was arrested on March 27, 2018 at 4:21 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family and on a warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the drug court. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional deputy located an active warrant for Mabile’s arrest.

 

Juvenile male, 16, Franklin, LA was arrested on March 27, 2018 at 3:37 pm for criminal trespassing.

 

A detective assigned to the Juvenile Services Section investigating a complaint of trespassing in Franklin found evidence that the juvenile crossed a fence onto private property. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings. This is the third arrest made in this case.

 

Kacy Norman, 32, 1513 ½ Nevada Street, Morgan City, LA on March 27, 2018 at 10:13 pm for violation of protective orders. A deputy responded to the call for service and found that Norman contacted the victim via phone violating a court order. Norman was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.

 

Mark Robin, Jr., 33, 1607 Cynthia Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on March 28, 2018 at 3:20 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of domestic abuse battery and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional deputy located an active warrant for Robin’s arrest.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

 

Brennan Tabor, 30, 105 Hendricks Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on March 27, 2018 at 9:32 pm for the following offenses: 

  • Possession of Schedule II (crack cocaine) with intent to distribute
  • Possession of Schedule II (hydrocodone)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone) 

St. Mary Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Section detectives and members of the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division conducted a search warrant at a residence on Hendricks Street. Detectives located bags of powdered cocaine, methamphetamine, a glass pipe used for smoking illegal drugs, and a hydrocodone pill in Tabor’s vehicle. During the execution of the warrant, detectives seized other illegal drugs at the residence. Detectives say arrest warrants are pending from the investigation. Tabor was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.
