Arrest Report October 20, 2014

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 72 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 138 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Kimberly Druilhet, 18, 205 ½ John Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on October 17, 2014 at 10:04 am for simple criminal damage to property. A deputy investigating a complaint of property damage at a residence on Bodin Road learned that Druilhet damaged a window of the home during an argument with a male subject. Druilhet was released on a summons to appear in court on January 26, 2015.

 

Anthony Tyus, 44, 808 General Mouton Avenue Apt. E., Lafayette, LA was arrested on October 17, 2014 at 10:18 am for remaining where forbidden and disturbing the peace (intoxication). A deputy responded to a complaint of a subject who was causing a disturbance and refused to leave a business located on Highway 90 in Bayou Vista. The deputy made contact with Tyus and smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. Tyus refused the deputy’s request to leave the property and was subsequently transported to the parish jail for booking. Tyus was later released on a summons to appear in court on January 26, 2015.   

 

Jonathan W. Rollins, 27, 168 Gibbs Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on October 17, 2014 at 10:46 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery. A deputy transported Rollins from the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville on the warrant. Bail is set at $10,000.

 

Mark White, 31, 275 Easy Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on October 17, 2014 at 11:09 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of dog fighting, contributing to the delinquency of juveniles, and simple cruelty to animals. White was located at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin on the warrant. Bail is set at $10,000.

 

Shawn McCauley, 37, 2858 Fourth Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on October 17, 2014 at 2:01 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia and simple criminal damage to property. A deputy was dispatched to a complaint of illegal drug activity on Friendship Alley in Amelia. The deputy made contact with McCauley and found him to be in possession of a glass pipe containing residue consistent with the smoking of illegal narcotics. Also, McCauley kicked the window of the deputy’s patrol unit causing damage to it. McCauley was transported to the parish jail for booking and was released on a $2,000 bond.

 

Rico T. Williams, 25, 1421 Martin Luther King Boulevard, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on , October 17, 2014 at 2:22 pm on the following offenses:

- Warrant for domestic abuse battery

- Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of Schedule I

- Warrant for probation violation

Williams was brought to the parish jail by another agency. During the booking process, a deputy conducted a standard warrants checks and learned of the active warrants for Williams. No bail is set.

 

Diana Harrison, 52, 160 Georgina Street, Sunset, LA was arrested on October 17, 2014 at 3:03 pm for theft of goods. A deputy investigating a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista, learned that Harrison was seen attempting to leave the store without paying for some items. Harrison was released on a summons to appear in court on January 26, 2015.

 

Joshua D. Moore, 17, 1514 Highway 182 Lot #1, Morgan City, LA was arrested on October 17, 2014 at 5:01 pm for simple battery.

Deontay O. Jones, 18, 528 Taft Street Lot #1, Patterson, LA was arrested on October 17, 2014 at 5:01 pm for simple battery.

A deputy was dispatched to a complaint of a fight at a residence on Highway 182 in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Moore and Jones were involved in an argument that resulted in a physical altercation. Both were transported to the parish jail for booking and were later released on summonses to appear in court on January 26, 2014.

 

Mary A. Harris, 54, 1514 Highway 182 East, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on October 17, 2014 at 5:04 pm on a warrant for simple battery. During the investigation of the complaint listed above, the deputy learned of an active warrant for Harris’ arrest. Harris was transported to the parish jail and was later released on a personal surety bond.

 

Carolyn R. McDaniel, 52, 635 Bigler Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on October 17, 2014 at 8:32 pm for reckless operation of a vehicle. A deputy on Highway 90 in the Franklin area observed a vehicle travelling westbound in the eastbound lanes of the roadway. The deputy initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as McDaniel. Following an investigation, McDaniel was transported to the parish jail for booking. She was later released on a summons to appear in court on January 26, 2015.

 

Rhonda Lodrigue, 37, 125 Two Sisters Court, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on October 18, 2014 at 1:22 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft. A deputy made contact with Lodrigue during the investigation of a separate complaint and learned of the active warrant for her arrest. No bail is set.

 

Kiefer A. Smith, 23, 224 Henry Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on October 19, 2014 at 2:28 am for the following offenses:

- Remaining where forbidden

- Disturbing the peace (intoxication)

- Resisting an officer

A deputy responded to a complaint of a subject who refused to leave the premises of a business on Highway 182 in Amelia after closing. The deputy made contact with Smith and smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his person. The deputy made multiple attempts to arrange a ride home for Smith. Smith refused. The deputy subsequently placed Smith under arrest. During the arrest, Smith forcefully resisted being placed in the police unit. The deputy transported Smith to the parish jail. He was later released on a $2,000 bond.

 

Lenord Howard, 25, 1016 Cypremort Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on October 19, 2014 at 3:08 am for introduction of contraband into a penal institution. Howard was brought to the parish jail by another agency. During the booking process, a deputy conducted a standard search and located a bag of marijuana on Howard’s person. No bail is set.

 

Shaneal J. Williams, 26, 6307 Bayou Black Road, Gibson, LA was arrested on October 19, 2014 at 11:04 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle without proper required equipment, operating a vehicle with an inadequate windshield, and failure to honor written promise to appear. Williams was transported from the Orleans Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrants. Bail is set for $5,334.50.

 

Larry Jack, III, 23, 203 Deadwood Road, Gibson, LA was arrested on October 19, 2014 at 8:15 am for illegal possession of stolen things. A deputy stopped on the Highway 182 frontage road in Amelia to render assistance to a motorist and made contact with Jack. While doing so, the deputy discovered that the license plate displayed on the vehicle Jack was driving had been reported stolen. Following an investigation, the deputy released Jack on a summons to appear in court on January 26, 2015.

 

Juvenile male, 15, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on October 19, 2014 at 2:27 pm for 2 counts of theft and on a charge of forgery. A deputy investigating a complaint of a theft learned that the juvenile stole cash and a check from a victim. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
