Arrest Report - February 12, 2018

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Scott Anslum advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 115 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Shawn Cashio, 29, 274 Donald Drive, Thibodaux, LA was arrested on February 9, 2018 at 10:18 am for soeeding and operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. A deputy monitoring traffic on US Highway 90 in Berwick observed a vehicle moving at 74 miles per hour in a posted 60 miles per hour zone. The deputy conducted a traffic stop, identified the d river as Cashio, and found that he was driving the vehicle with a suspended licnse. Cashio was released on a summons to appear in court on May 2, 2018.

 

Galen Ford, 25, Morgan City, LA was additionally charged February 9, 2018 at 1:30 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of expired motor vehicle inspection and no motor vehicle insurance. Ford was already incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center when a correctional deputy received the active warrant for his arrest. No bail is set.

 

William Carr, 28, 415 Clemons Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 9, 2018 at 3:09 pm for theft. A deputy responded to a report of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. The deputy found evidence that Carr concealed items in a bag he was carrying with the intent of stelaing the merchandise. Carr was released on a summons to appear in court on May 2, 2018.

 

Jude Boudreaux, 19, 3876 Highway 923, Jonesburo, LA was arrested on February 9, 2018 at 10:11 pm on a warrant for Chitimacha Tribal Police for probation violation. A deputy conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle on LA Highway 182 in Centerville identified Boudreaux as an occupant of vehicle and located the active warrant for his arrest. Boudreaux was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enfocement Center for booking. No bail is set.

 

Joshua Martin, 24, 616 Boley Lane, Charenton, LA was arrested on February 10, 2018 at 5:40 am for operating a vehicle with a suspnded driver’s license and possession of Shedule I (marijuana).

 

Calab Mitchell, 21, 216 Cedar Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on February 10, 2018 at 5:40 am for possession of Scheudle I (marijuana).

 

Sedrick Rudolph, 33, 434 Gum Point Lane, was arrested on February 10, 2018 at 5:40 am for possession of Scheudle I (marijuana).

 

A deputy investigting a single vehicle crash on LA Highway 182 near Katy Bridge Approach Road identified spoke with the driver, Martin, and 2 occupants, Mitchell and Rudolph.The deputy found that Martin was driving with a susended license at the time he lost control of the vehicle. The deputy also located a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle. All 3 occupants were released on summonses to appear in court on May 2, 2018.

 

Jody Cubbedge, Jr., 41, 129 Uranus Street, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 10, 2018 at 2:12 am on a warrant for monetary instrument abuse. A deputy patrolling LA Highway 182 in the Patterson area stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The deputy identified the driver as Cubbedge and located the active warrant for his arrest. The warrant stems from an invetsigtaion in January when deputies received a report that counterfeit money was used at a business in Bayou Vista. The deputy positively identified Cubbedge as the subject who paid for goods at the store with a fake $100 bill. Cubbedge was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrant. No bail is set.

 

Dane Farrington Jr., 36, 2008 Keith Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 10, 2018 at 8:50 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the chagres of possession of Schedule I drugs, second offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. Farrington turned himself in at the St. Mary parish Law Enforcement Center on other charges. During booking, a correctional deputy located the active warrant for his arrest. No bail is set.

 

Damarco McDaniel, 24, 811 Tenth Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on February 11, 2018 at 3:03 am on a warrant for disturbing the peace (fighting). A deputy conducting a traffic stop on LA Highway 182 in Baldwin identified an occupant of the vehicle as McDaniel and located the active warrant for his arrest. McDaniel was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. McDaniel was released on a $1,000 bond.
