St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert advises that over the last reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 35 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Jason Cavalier, 40, 148 Cremo Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on November 16, 2017 at 10:04 am on a warrant for theft of goods and on a warrant for telephone harassment and simple assault. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional deputy located the active warrants for Cavalier’s arrest. The warrant for phone harassment and assault stems from an investigation conducted earlier this month. The deputy found evidence that Cavalier made multiple remarks by telephone threatening the life of a female victim. The warrant for theft of goods was issued following a September investigation into a suspicious vehicle reported at a store in Bayou Vista. The deputy collected evidence that the vehicle was being driven by Cavalier who left the store without paying for several items in his possession. Bail on the warrants is set at $3,000.
Terrell Poole, 26, 1045 Ramos Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on November 17, 2017 at 1:52 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of domestic abuse battery. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional deputy located the active warrant for Poole’s arrest. No bail is set.
