Arrest Report - October 31, 2017

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 38 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

WARRANTS/COURT SECURITY SECTION 

Justin Lovell, 204 Patton Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on October 30, 2017 at 1:19 pm for criminal damage to property and contempt of court. On October 30, 2017, deputies working security at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin observed Lovell punch a wall in a hallway of the courthouse causing damage to it. With the assistance of Franklin Police, Lovell was detained. Following an investigation, Lovell was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.

 

UNIFORMED PATROL SECTION 

Crystal Thompson, 39, 209 Field Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on October 30, 2017 at 8:58 pm for theft. A deputy responded to a call for service regarding shoplifting at a store in Amelia. The deputy developed Thompson as a suspect in the crime and collected evidence that she concealed items in her purse before leaving the business without paying for the goods. The deputy located Thompson at her residence and recovered the stolen items. Thompson was released on a summons to appear in court on January 3, 2018.

 

CORRECTIONS DIVISION 

Carroll Hebert, Jr., 30, 400 American Boulevard, Houma, LA was arrested on October 30, 2017 at 7:24 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license and failure to stop. A correctional deputy transported Hebert from the Lafourche Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $5000.
