Arrest Report October 2, 2014

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Gary Thibodeaux, 53, 152 Bayou View Drive, Baldwin, LA was arrested on October 1, 2014 at 9:06 am on a warrant for disturbing the peace and simple criminal damage to property. A deputy investigating a complaint of damage to property at a residence on Grandwood Drive in Patterson identified Thibodeaux as the subject who used a key to scratch a female victim’s vehicle. The deputy also learned during the investigation that Thibodeaux was yelling during the early morning hours of Sunday, September 28, 2014 causing a disturbance in the neighborhood. The deputy obtained a warrant for Thibodaux’s arrest. Thibodaux came to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin and was subsequently transported to the parish jail for booking. He was later released on a summons to appear in court on January 26, 2015.

 

Earl Allen, Jr., 50, 121 Emy Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on October 1, 2014 at 12:12 pm on a warrant for aggravated battery. On March 3rd, 2014 a deputy was dispatched to Teche Regional Medical Center in reference to a report of a battery. During the course of the investigation, the deputy determined that Allen struck a male victim in the head with a glass ash tray during an argument at a residence in the Patterson area. The victim was treated for the gash he received on his face and later released. The deputy obtained a warrant for Allen’s arrest. Allen came to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin and was subsequently transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Desmond Francis, 26, 10723 Highway 182 Franklin, LA was arrested on October 1, 2014 at 1:27 pm on a warrant for aggravated battery and criminal trespassing and a warrant for domestic abuse battery. On September 30, 2014, deputies began an investigation into two complaints of battery. Deputies identified Francis as the subject who struck a female victim with his vehicle following an argument at a residence on St. Joseph Lane in Franklin. Through further investigation, deputies also learned that Francis grabbed a female victim y her hair and pushed her to the ground during a domestic altercation at a residence on Irish Bend Road. The deputies obtained warrants for the arrest of Francis. Francis came in to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin and was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

De’Anthony Lewis, 30, 101 Basin Street, Apt. C, Lafayette, LA was arrested on October 1, 2014 on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of Schedule I drugs, second offense. A deputy transported Lewis from the Lafayette Parish jail to the St. Mary parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville on the warrant. No bond is set.

 

David W. Williams, 29, 2411 Sixth Street, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on October 1, 2014 at 3:02 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft. A deputy transported Williams from the Jeanerette Police Department to the St. Mary parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrant. He was later released on a $500 bond.

 

Kenjawn Williams, 33, 521 Trappey Street Lot B, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on October 1, 2014 at 3:02 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy transported Williams from the Jeanerette Police Department to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrant. Bail is set at $11,770.16.

 

Courtney Richardson, 29, Franklin, LA was additionally charged with entering contraband into a penal institution (possession of contraband) on October 1, 2014 at 3:04 pm. A jailer at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville received information that an inmate, Richardson, was in possession of a cell phone. Deputies searched the dorm in which Richardson was housed and located a cell phone in his possession. Richardson remains incarcerated.
